Beautiful parish church from the early 1600s

Imposing construction that stands at the top of the ancient village surrounded by a beautiful churchyard and flanked by an atypical crenellated bell tower. The interior is rich with a magnificent cycle of seventeenth-century frescoes, six side chapels closed by artistic wrought iron gates and a spectacular Antegnati organ.

Church of San Faustino and San Giovita. This church is the parish church of the beautiful Borgo di Bienno and was reconstituted on a previous one in the early seventeenth century. Inside you can admire beautiful frescoes, the organ and the wrought iron gate built in 1647 and many other very interesting works. A strange curiosity is the bell tower which is rotated with respect to the church because it is from the previous church. In addition to this beautiful church, the beautiful village of Bienno offers tourists many other interesting historical and cultural attractions including the Magli museum, the historic mill museum, its beautiful views, the various craft workshops and the beautiful statue of Christ the King who located on a hill overlooking Bienno. The church of Saints Faustino and Giovita rises in Bienno, of which it is the parish church, and is consecrated to Saints Faustino and Giovita.
