Abbiamo trovato un posto e soprattutto una persona meravigliosa, siamo marchigiani, spero di ritornare presto in Val Camonica e soprattutto al ristorante del Castello di Breno. We visited the Castello di Breno and, thanks to the chef Marco of the restaurant of the same name, we ate a delicious gourmet pizza and above all spent a wonderful evening chatting pleasantly with the chef. Abbiamo potuto pranzare all’aperto vista la bella giornata di fine ottobre, ma all’interno sarebbe stato ugualmente piacevole perché le sale sono ricavate in un ambiente rustico del castello. Molto ben arredate risultano calde e accoglienti. La cucina è di alto livello qualitativo. Ottimi i casoncelli fatti in casa così come i tortelli di patate. Spettacolare la guancia di manzo arrosto e il brasato tenerisimo! Il cuoco sa il fatto suo! Ottimo anche il servizio, cortesi e accoglienti. Alla fine il prezzo (circa 25 euro a persona) è stato altrettanto una sorpresa positiva. Ci torno sicuramente! Exceptional location. There are a few hundred steps to walk along the uphill cobblestone path, but it's worth it! We were able to have lunch in the open due to the beautiful day at the end of October, but inside it would have been equally enjoyable because the rooms are set in a rustic castle environment. Very well furnished they are warm and welcoming. The kitchen is of a high quality standard. Excellent homemade casoncelli as well as potato tortelli. The roast beef cheek and the braised tenerisimo are spectacular! The cook knows his stuff! The service is also excellent, courteous and welcoming. In the end the price (around 25 euros per person) was also a positive surprise. I definitely come back!
E	Enzo Ornaghi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non capita spesso di cenare in un castello. Se poi si mangia anche bene..... Il ristorante ha tavoli sia all'aperto, per il periodo estivo, sia all'interno. Il menu non è lunghissimo e questo è una buona cosa. Ci sono piatti tipici della zona, altri un po meno. I prezzi sono nella media. Non è possibile raggiungere il ristorante in auto ma bisogna lasciarla in paese e percorrere la ripida strada che porta al castello. It's not often that you dine in a castle. If you also eat well ..... The restaurant has tables both outdoors, for the summer, and indoors. The menu isn't that long and that's a good thing. There are typical dishes of the area, others a little less. Prices are average. It is not possible to reach the restaurant by car but you have to leave it in the village and take the steep road that leads to the castle.

La guancia di manzo brasata.... eccezionale. Consigliatissimo. Tocco che non guasta, Marco ed il suo staff sono simpatici e gentilissimi Wonderful place!!! Top quality service and cuisine at fair prices. Gragnano fusilli with river carbonara and bottarga, a surprise. Braised beef cheek .... outstanding. Highly recommended. Il personale è di un’attenzione ed una gentilezza squisiti: abbiamo ordinato una tagliata di manzo semplicemente sublime con patate al forno e ravioli al burro versato, contorno di patate arrosto e verdure grigliate; il tutto accompagnato da un buon vino rosso. Porzioni normali con occhio e cura sul dettaglio e sulla qualità del cibo. Prezzo nella norma accessibile tranquillamente. La magnifica location gioca un ruolo d’élite in questo incantevole ristorante bresciano doc. Lo consiglio vivamente! We had lunch outside immersed in this magnificent medieval landscape kissed by the last hot September sun. The staff is of exquisite attention and kindness: we ordered a simply sublime sliced beef with baked potatoes and ravioli with poured butter, a side of roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables; all accompanied by a good red wine. Normal portions with an eye and attention to detail and the quality of the food. Normal price easily accessible. The magnificent location plays an elite role in this charming Brescia restaurant. I highly recommend it!

Il personale molto cordiale e lo Chef bravo e molto simpatico. I piatti sono ricercati e serviti con stile. Ottima qualità! Prezzo più che giusto. Anche i bambini si sono divertiti.
