In seguito al terremoto del 1980 il complesso conventuale e la chiesa della Natività subiscono una serie di danni. Attualmente la chiesa non è stata ancora ristrutturata.
The church of the Nativity of Mary, an integral part of the convent complex, was built in 1596 and consecrated by the bishop of Bethlehem Vincenzo Malatesta. Following the 1980 earthquake, the convent complex and the church of the Nativity suffered a series of damages. Currently the church has not yet been renovated.
