L	Luca PD on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passato per una visita veloce, si arriva dal centro di Marostica tramite una breve camminata. Luogo contenuto negli spazi ma bene tenuto. Arrivando si presenta molto bene difatti ho scattato una foto ricordo perché era molto suggestivo vedere la Chiesa con il colle dietro. Passed by for a quick visit, you can arrive from the center of Marostica through a short walk. Place contained in the spaces but well kept. Arriving it looks very good in fact I took a souvenir photo because it was very suggestive to see the Church with the hill behind.
S	Simone Testa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa della Madonna del Carmine (o dei Carmini) di Marostica in trova in posizione dominante rispetto al centro cittadino, in quanto si colloca in cima ad una scalinata bianca alquanto scenografica, la quale si trova al termine di via Bassano, la via principale di Marostica. La chiesa del Carmine ha un facciata in stile barocco, ed è ad aula unica a forma quadrata, in essa sono contenuti affreschi a soffitto, ed alcuni elementi interessanti come i paliotti dei due altari, ovvero pannelli decorativi utilizzati come rivestimenti della parte anteriore dell'altare stesso. Infatti l'elemento dell'interno che più mi ha colpito è proprio il paliotto decorato in bronzo che abbellisce l'altare principale e che raffigura l'ultima cena. Dalla chiesa si gode una superba vista sulla via sottostante e sul centro storico di Marostica. The church of the Madonna del Carmine (or dei Carmini) in Marostica is in a dominant position with respect to the city center, as it is located at the top of a somewhat scenic white staircase, which is located at the end of via Bassano, the main street of Marostica. The Carmine church has a Baroque facade, and has a single square-shaped hall, it contains ceiling frescoes, and some interesting elements such as the frontals of the two altars, or decorative panels used as coatings of the front of the altar itself. In fact, the element of the interior that most impressed me is the bronze frontal which embellishes the main altar and which represents the Last Supper. From the church you can enjoy a superb view of the street below and the historic center of Marostica.

Posta in podizione rialzata rispetto alla città è vicina al museo della grande guerra di Marostica e alla psrtenza del sentiero che porta al castello superiore. Costruita tra il 1618 e 1619 ha una facciata in barocco. Bellisssimi i due altari latetali con la base in legno finemente intagliato ed intarsio in marmo. Fantastico in porta elemosine di marmo. Molti bei dettagli in una chiesetta semplice. Beautiful church dedicated to the Madonna del Carmine. Placed in a raised position with respect to the city, it is close to the museum of the great war of Marostica and to the path that leads to the upper castle. Built between 1618 and 1619 it has a Baroque facade. The two side altars are very beautiful with a finely carved wooden base and marble inlay. Fantastic in hand alms of marble. Many beautiful details in a simple church.
D	DENIT33 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa chiesa la si scorge guardando verso l'alto ... sorge in posizione elevata preceduta da una maestosa scalinata composta da 47 scalini e ornata da due statue: a sx San Girolamo con il sasso della penitenza in mano e il leone ai piedi simbolo dell’eremitismo; a dx San Simone Stock generale dei carmelitani. Non è la prima volta che faccio la turista da queste parti, ma ogni volta resto piacevolmente deliziata dalla vista di questo posto, dalla sua collocazione ... dall'insieme architettonico ... dall'effetto scenografico con lo sfondo del colle incorniciato dalle mura del Castello Superiore .. dalla scalinata del carmine ... dalla facciata della chiesa gradevole con il suo 'occhio al centro ottagonale e le quattro semicolonne ioniche che sorreggono il frontone. Insomma un posto da vedere più volte. This church can be seen looking upwards ... it stands in an elevated position preceded by a majestic staircase consisting of 47 steps and decorated with two statues: on the left San Girolamo with the stone of penance in his hand and the lion at his feet symbol of the 'hermitage; on the right San Simone General stock of the Carmelites. It is not the first time that I am a tourist in these parts, but every time I am pleasantly delighted by the view of this place, by its location ... by the architectural ensemble ... by the scenographic effect with the background of the hill framed by the walls del Castello Superiore .. from the stairway of the carmine ... from the pleasant facade of the church with its' eye in the octagonal center and the four ionic half-columns that support the pediment. In short, a place to see several times.

If you are in Marostica it is worth visiting, next to the church also starts the path that leads to the ruins of the Upper Castle.

L'interno più sobrio, è ad unica navata a pianta quadrata. Le caratteristiche di pregio della chiesa sono: - affreschi del soffitto opera di Giuseppe Graziani - i due paliotti degli altari laterali in legno intagliato e scagliola - la stanza adiacente all'altare, una cappella tutta affrescata, restaurata recentemente.
