★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous handmade traditional ceramics made and sold in a small shop just steps from the lungomare (seawall). The owner and ceramicsmaker (the back of the shop is her studio, the front is the showroom) is lovely: we walked past Do Lù when it was closed and knew immediately that we wanted to take a piece home; she was able open early for us so that we could catch our flight out. No pressure at all to buy, reasonable prices, kind and informative, and did I mention beautiful ceramics. We couldn't have been happier with this find.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Domenica is a passionate artist. My husband and I searched every ceramic place in Ortigia and Siracusa, we literally walked for hours looking in all the ceramic shops. Domenica's pieces were the best quality, the most beautiful designs, and the best prices too. She was super helpful in calling the postal office to find out how much shipping would cost for us. We bought a beautiful platter from her and will get a set of espresso cups soon. We will definetly continue purchasing from her! Their shop is not in a well known area of Ortigia, but the city is small so everything is close!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful shop and the shop owner (who also makes the ceramics) was so sweet and friendly! I bought several things (a tealight holder, a little plate, and a couple of little bowls) to take home and I wish I could have fit more in my suitcase as I loved the larger plates and mugs as well. The ceramics are unique (I never saw anything else like them during the three months I was living in Sicily) and the designs are very clean. I would highly recommend this shop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem in beautiful Ortigia! We purchased a beautiful plate and medium sized pine cone that was fresh out of the oven. The owner was kind enough to let us peak into her atelier and answer any questions we had regarding her craftsmanship. We cannot wait to display the pieces we got in our new home! We travelled all over Italy and we saw many beautiful ceramics but we are so glad we waited until Sicily to buy from the very best! Help support this local business!

We ordered a pair of green pinecone lamps which arrived a couple of months later at our house in England. Domenica was so helpful and kept us updated on our order.
