Sarebbe davvero bello poterlo ammirare restaurato.
Non perdo questa speranza.
A castle from the huge potential but unfortunately is in a state disgraceful after the earthquake.

Place of sublime beauty. Unfortunately im a state of advanced ruin to which the 2009 earthquake dealt a coup de grace. It is unsafe and a visit to the ruins is not recommended. But you can approach the fortress to admire the breathtaking view towards the Gran Sasso

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo stati qui durante una gita con i miei amici del periodo lavorativo. E una zona molto bella e dai contrafforti di questo vecchio e abbastanza fatiscente castello si gode la vista di tutta la vallata del circondario industriale di Aquila. Siamo a pochi km. Dalle favolose grotte di Stiffe e il panorama qui è superlativo. Il castello è stato lasciato andare ed è pericoloso avvicinarci perché ci sono sono reti arrugginite e fili spinati. Credo che sarebbe giusto fare un intervento di miglioramento e di sicurezza per evitare che questo bel posto si perda del tutto come tanti altri siti di questo genere.
Stayed here on a trip with my friends from work. And a very nice area and the foothills of this old and rather dilapidated castle you can enjoy the view across the valley of the Aquila industrial district. We are just a few miles away. From the fabulous Stiffe caves and the view here is superb. The castle has been let go and it is dangerous to approach it because there are rusty nets and barbed wires. I think it would be right to make an intervention for improvement and security to prevent this lovely place to be lost altogether as many other sites of this kind.
