M	MARCO on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castello privato e chiuso al pubblico (purtroppo , fosse mio ne sarei fiero a farlo visitare almeno 1 giorno alla settimana ma il Sig.Chicco è castellano assai ostile ?). Stupenda posizione , bei giardini. Private castle and closed to the public (unfortunately, were it mine I would be proud to let it visit at least 1 day a week but Sig.Chicco is a very hostile castellan ?). Superb location, beautiful gardens.
M	Mauro Verra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello è un piccolo gioiello, imperdibile. Costruito dai Visconti nel quattordicesimo secolo, dopo la conquista della città. Situato nell’angolo sud dell’abitato, venne restaurato alla fine del secolo XIX. Ha struttura quadrangolare, con torri ai lati, una torre d’ingresso e ponte levatoio... Ma la cosa più interessante, in attesa di poterci entrare e ascoltare da vicino tutto quel che raccontano i mattoni, è fermarsi davanti alla targa e leggere quelle poche parole che raccontano delle persone rinchiuse e delle persecuzioni su cui vale davvero la pena informarsi e documentarsi per spiegare e non dimenticare tutto quello che davvero racconta un bellissimo castello... The castle is a small jewel, a must-see. Built by the Visconti in the fourteenth century, after the conquest of the city. Located in the south corner of the town, it was restored at the end of the 19th century. It has a quadrangular structure, with towers on the sides, an entrance tower and a drawbridge ... But the most interesting thing, waiting to be able to get in and listen closely to everything that tells the bricks, is to stop in front of the plaque and read those few words that tell of people locked up and persecutions on which it is really worth to inquire and read up for explain and not forget everything that really tells a beautiful castle ...

Purtroppo è proprietà privata e non visitabile e ci si deve accontentare di ammirarlo dall'esterno. Beautiful manor overlooking the western part of the Langhe. Unfortunately it is private property and cannot be visited and we must be content to admire it from the outside.

Il grandioso castello ha pianta quadrata con torri ai quattro angoli con merlatura ghibellina e una minore sull'ingresso con ponte levatoio. The castle stands at a strategic point on a hill surrounded by the Stura di Demonte. The grandiose castle has a square plan with towers at the four corners with Ghibelline battlements and a smaller one on the entrance with a drawbridge.
