β β β β β Una bella esperienza la visita l'abbiamo fatta con la Signora Cristina. Ci ha spiegato la storia delle cantine Ascheri. Quando parlava si sentiva l'amore che ha per il suo lavoro, per i suoi vigneti e per il suo vino. Bella esperienza. Alla fine del tour ho comprato 2 bottiglie di Nebbiolo a 14 β¬ cadauna e 2 di Barbera a 10 β¬ sempre cadauna. Poi abbiamo concluso il tutto mangiando all'osteria di loro proprietΓ Vecchie Mura. Dimenticavo c'Γ¨ anche un albergo.
A nice experience we did the visit with Mrs. Cristina. He explained the history of the Ascheri cellars to us. When he spoke you could feel the love he has for his work, for his vineyards and for his wine. Good experience. At the end of the tour I bought 2 bottles of Nebbiolo for β¬ 14 each and 2 of Barbera for β¬ 10 each. Then we finished it all off by eating at the Vecchie Mura tavern they owned. I forgot there is also a hotel.

β β β β β They boast of worldwide fame and produce one of the highest quality of wines in this region. Their signature, Barolo, offers many vintages. For 10euros, you can try their normal selection of wines, plus a premium wine (upwards of 75euros).
Cristina herself greeted us and was more than happy to show us around. Prices are considerably higher than surrounding wineries, but that's probably due to their international fame.

β β β β β Very modern hotel with a very particular style. The rooms are spacious and very well designed. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and service oriented. They put a smile on your face every time you get in touch with them. The breakfast is great, home made cake, local specialties and fresh made dishes. I highly recommend this place.
