Il posto è fantastico, una parco molto grande a picco sul mare, con una bellissima visuale della costa. Tramite un sentiero nella roccia è possibile raggiungere la tomba di Sonnino, anch'essa molto suggestiva. Peccato per l'interno del castello, che presenta stanze molto piccole e spoglie. La costruzione del castello risale alla metà del milleottocento, per volere del barone Sonnino, lo fece costruire sopra i resti di un forte che serviva per la difesa della costa, ristrutturato nel cinquecento dalla famiglia dei Medici, il castello attualmente residenza privata non é visitabile, salvo in occasioni particolari. P	Paul Blackstone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castillo Sonnino was a stop for a lunch, part of a tour we took while in Florence Italy. The country side, grounds, wine cellars and the ambiance was a step back in time to a place only found in dreams, GOOD DREAMS. Expecting a box lunch we were totally taken aback by the SEVERAL COURSE LUNCH with WINE tastings for each course. To my surprise I was able to drink all the different types of wine without getting ill. I can not drink AMERICANwines without almost instantly becoming ill. I recommend this Winery HIGHLY and hopefully be able to order through the winery, until I return to the CASTELLO SONNINO. Paul Blackstone
