V	Vincenzo D'Aria on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eretto sulla collina della motta, struttura difensiva realizzata dallo scavo del fossato, il castello Sichinulfo viene menzionato per la prima volta dallo storico arabo Al Idrisi il quale fa risalire le origini del castello al 604 DC per volere dei Longobardi di Benevento, mentre secondo altre fonti il castello risale all'851 DC per volere del principe Sichinulfo da cui prende nome il castello. Di grandi dimensioni presenta 16 vani soprani e 6 vani sottani nonché stalle e un forno. La leggenda della principessa Abufina e del suo amante Selepino, morti a causa del loro amore, animano l'edificio rendendolo misterioso ed affascinante.
