Fra l'altro molto bello, soprattutto esternamente, visto che nel corso degli anni ha avuto al suo interno anche un ristorante, che ha rovinato un bel pò la bellezza originale. Merita comunque, e con un contributo libero, aiutiamo questi volontari che hanno a cuore le sorti del castello di Manservisi.
 Nice experience, the guide, a volunteer, told us in detail the vicissitudes of the castle. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se visitate il Castello Manservisi a Castelluccio, appena sopra Porretta e avete intenzione di assaggiare qualcosa di tipico, non vi consiglio il ristorante Monte Piella. Può risultare a prima vista una vecchia osteria dove si presuppone di mangiare bene. In realtà molto deludente e scarsa qualità.
If you visit the Manservisi Castle in Castelluccio, just above Porretta and you intend to taste something typical, I don't recommend the Monte Piella restaurant. At first glance, it may seem like an old tavern where you are supposed to eat well. In fact very disappointing and poor quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello si trova nel comune di Alto Reno Terme ed è stato ristrutturato a fine '800 da Alessandro Manservisi con uno stile neogotico che rispecchiava il gusto dell’epoca, riprendendo elementi medievali come archi a sesto acuto, torri e elementi in ferro battuto (come grate, inferriate e anelli per legare gli animali). Il castello è rimasto di proprietà della famiglia Manservisi fino al 1912, quando venne devoluto in beneficenza per i bambini poveri e utilizzato come colonia estiva. Recentemente è stato trasformato in albergo e ristorante, subendo importanti e improprie modifiche. Attualmente sono possibili visite guidate grazie al contributo di volontari che, con passione e tenacia, tengono vivo il ricordo dell'antico castello e tentano di salvaguardarne il futuro. Visita consigliata!
The castle is located in the municipality of Alto Reno Terme and was renovated at the end of the 19th century by Alessandro Manservisi with a neo-Gothic style that reflected the taste of the time, taking up medieval elements such as pointed arches, towers and wrought iron elements (such as gratings, railings and rings for tying animals). The castle remained the property of the Manservisi family until 1912, when it was donated to charity for poor children and used as a summer camp. It has recently been transformed into a hotel and restaurant, undergoing important and improper changes. Currently guided tours are possible thanks to the contribution of volunteers who, with passion and tenacity, keep the memory of the ancient castle alive and try to safeguard its future. Recommended visit!
