★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Castello di Ficarazzi, costruito nel '400 come torre, voluta dal Viceré Pietro Speciale a difesa delle coltivazioni di canna da zucchero. Successivamente con la scoperta dell'America il prezzo della canna crollò e la coltivazione cessò.
Nel 1733 il feudo venne comprato da Luigi Giardina de Guevara, che assunse il titolo di Principe di Ficarazzi. A lui si deve la trasformazione della torre in palazzo nobiliare con lo scenografico scalone a più rampe che colma il dislivello tra la strada e il palazzo. Gli ultimi proprietari lo cedettero alle Suore Teatine dell'immacolata che ancora oggi vi abitano.
 The Castle of Ficarazzi, built in the 15th century as a tower, commissioned by Viceroy Pietro Speciale to defend sugar cane crops. Subsequently with the discovery of America the price of the cane collapsed and cultivation ceased.
In 1733 the feud was bought by Luigi Giardina de Guevara, who assumed the title of Prince of Ficarazzi. He was responsible for the transformation of the tower into a noble palace with the spectacular multi-flight staircase that bridges the gap between the road and the palace. The last owners ceded it to the Theatine Sisters of the Immaculate Conception who still live there.
