★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il luogo è veramente fantastico. Il tramonto visto dalla terrazza innamora. Qualche caduta di stile nelle decorazioni della Corte Normanna. Non ho apprezzato le luci nel magnifico Ficus.
 The place is truly fantastic. The sunset seen from the terrace falls in love. Some fall in style in the decorations of the Norman Court. I did not like the lights in the magnificent Ficus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden Gem, just walk in, it is free and there are no personnel, or formalities. The trick is finding the entrance on foot. From the town of Trabia walk through the Arch, down the steps on the left side of the road, through a small tunnel, then instead of going further down the steps to the beach road, cross the road in front of you known as Strada Statale (be very careful of oncoming vehicles), turn left and continue down the road just 10 meters (before the tunnel), turn left enter the driveway through the gate and into the grounds of the castle. Just beyond the parking lot, within the castle walls, yet still outside the main castle structure is a terraced stair case down to the sea with several vantage points. Afterwards continue inside the castle's entry gate and find many courtyards. Climb every stairway to secret belvedere's, with geometric tile work and pottery. One of the most underrated and best restored private castles in Sicily. Used sometimes for events and weddings by locals. Best times to visit are at dusk and dawn (hour after sunrise; hour before sunset), for perfect lighting for photos. There is an unmarked restroom inside on of the corridor rooms when unlocked, otherwise there are no commercial services available.
