Con un'altra guida avrei goduto della visita molto di più: non ho capito (e non sono la sola) la metà delle cose che ha spiegato riguardo alla storia del castello e alla storia delle famiglie che lo hanno abitato, perché non pronunciava chiaramente le parole Visited on the occasion of 'open castles'. With another guide I would have enjoyed the visit much more: I did not understand (and I am not the only one) half of the things he explained about the history of the castle and the history of the families who lived there, because he did not clearly pronounce the words

Buono l'accesso ed il parcheggio anche per portatori di handicap. Very nice, welcoming and equipped, it allows many solutions with its three floors and large park. Good access and parking also for the handicapped.

Ha le sembianze di una Villa Medicea ed è appartenuto alla famiglia di Colloredo fino al termine della Prima Guerra Mondiale. L’edificio è circondato da un ampio e curato giardino all’italiana fruibile dagli ospiti e dai visitatori, recintato e dotato di parcheggio interno. Ubicato alla sommità del Colle di Susans, il castello ha una splendida vista che spazia dalla pianura e dalle colline circostanti fino ai monti e alla valle del fiume Tagliamento. Susans Castle is an elegant seventeenth-century residence built on the ruins of previous medieval buildings and more ancient settlements dating back to Roman times. It has the appearance of a Medici Villa and belonged to the Colloredo family until the end of the First World War. The building is surrounded by a large and well-kept Italian garden that can be used by guests and visitors, fenced and equipped with internal parking. Located at the top of Colle di Susans, the castle has a splendid view that sweeps from the surrounding plain and hills to the mountains and the valley of the Tagliamento river.
A	Antonella Russo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello di Susans esternamente è molto bello,già l entrata regale ti fa assaporare l eleganza di questo palazzo.Non c è parcheggio per le macchine.Evidentemente viene affittato per matrimoni o eventi. Sono tornata a visitarlo durante i castelli aperti.Castello medioevale,è stato incendiato nel 1511,la forma attuale è voluta nel 1636 dal conte Fabrizio di Colloredo sullo stile mediceo.Il castello è stato costruito per ricevimenti e feste non per difesa.Attualmente è in buonissimo stato,utilizzato per eventi e matrimoni. Bellissimo panorama in una cornice sul verde. Susans Castle is very beautiful from the outside, the royal entrance already makes you savor the elegance of this palace. There is no parking for cars. Obviously it is rented for weddings or events. I returned to visit it during the open castles. Medieval castle, it was set on fire in 1511, the current shape was desired in 1636 by Count Fabrizio di Colloredo on the Medici style. The castle was built for receptions and parties not for defense. very good condition, used for events and weddings. Beautiful landscape in a green setting.

R	Robert Grossegger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place, worth a visit. But you can’t enter neither the castle nor the garden on a Sunday. There are no opening hours displayed. I couldn’t even find them on the official homepage. What a shame!
