★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fondato forse alla fine del 1100 fu uno strategico castello, conteso da molti, che seppe sopravvivere anche alla "Compagnia Bianca" dello Sterz e all'assedio del Colleoni. Nel 1400 i Tettoni ne fecero un cascinale fortificato con un torrione dove potevano trovare rifugio gli abitanti; possedeva anche un forno, una ferriera e un mulino con quattro ruote.
Nel 1700 i conti Bellini lo trasformarono in residenza di campagna con tanto di chiesa, cimitero e alberi d'alto fusto in un parco informale. Un'azienda agricola ben organizzata, esattamente come oggi.
Perhaps founded at the end of 1100 it was a strategic castle, disputed by many, which also managed to survive the Sterz "White Company" and the siege of Colleoni. In 1400 the Tettoni made it a fortified farmhouse with a tower where the inhabitants could find refuge; he also owned an oven, an ironworks and a mill with four wheels.
In 1700 the Bellini counts transformed it into a country residence complete with a church, cemetery and tall trees in an informal park. A well organized farm, exactly like today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello è sicuramente di antica origine, tant'è vero che viene già citato nel 1362, in occasione della guerra fra il Marchese del Monferrato ed i Visconti di Milano. Verso la fine del Cinquecento la proprietà passa in mano alla famiglia Caccia, nel 1666 agli spagnoli, infine nel Settecento alla famiglia Bellini, l'ultima che apporta modifiche significative al complesso. Spicca il bel viale alberato che conduce alla torre del rivellino d'ingresso, ancora perfettamente conservata. Sul lato est è visibile la ruota del mulino. Oggi il castello è stato trasformato in una tenuta agricola: sebbene non si possa visitare in quanto proprietà privata, fa piacere osservare il perfetto stato di manutenzione di un bene storico.
The castle is certainly of ancient origin, so much so that it is already mentioned in 1362, on the occasion of the war between the Marquis of Monferrato and the Visconti of Milan. Towards the end of the sixteenth century the property passed into the hands of the Caccia family, in 1666 to the Spaniards, and finally in the eighteenth century to the Bellini family, the last to make significant changes to the complex. The beautiful tree-lined avenue that leads to the entrance ravelin tower, still perfectly preserved, stands out. The mill wheel is visible on the east side. Today the castle has been transformed into an agricultural estate: although it cannot be visited as it is private property, it is a pleasure to observe the perfect state of maintenance of a historic asset.
