Tenuto magnificamente, si può ammirare dalle stradine circostanti.
Bella anche la sequenza delle botteghe artigiane e dell'osteria vicine, oggi adibite ad abitazioni ma con intatto il fascino del 1500

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Minerbio, nella frazione di San Martino in Soverzano, circondato da uno specchio d’acqua e un’area boschiva, c’è un castello medievale che viene aperto solo pochissime volte all’anno. È il Castello dei Manzoli nelle campagne di Bologna, luogo incantevole costruito dall’omonimo cavaliere nel 1411, attorno a ciò che rimaneva dell’antica torre degli Ariosti e che mantiene le stesse mura, merli e fossati di allora. Con le sue 4 torri angolari e un ampio parco, il maniero è una proprietà privata che viene aperta ai visitatori solo per occasioni speciali, come visite guidate organizzate da associazioni, ma anche in occasione di una fiera annuale con rievocazione storica , manifestazione che solitamente si svolge in autunno e che ha origini antiche, risalenti al 1584.
Per entrare in questo antico castello, proprio come in passato, bisogna passare dal ponte levatoio per poi accedere all’interno della corte. I fortunati che ci sono già stati raccontano di un posto da favola, di sale decorate, camini in pietra, tele e affreschi, quadri del Cinquecento e del Seicento. Spero un giorno di poterlo visitare!
