M	Mari Ube on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Castello e il borgo di Travo sono raccolti attorno a piazza Trento, che funge da ingresso attraverso un arco medievale. Nel Castello è ospitato il Museo Civico Archeologico (che fa parte del Parco Archeologico - Villaggio Neolitico di Travo). Il fortilizio appartenne ai Malaspina per poi passare, dal XIII secolo e fino al 1978 agli Anguissola. Dopodiché fu ceduto al Comune di Travo. La struttura comprende il palazzo signorile che si fonde con le parti medievali più antiche, come la Torre cilindrica, visibile aggirando la piazza. Altre due torri, quadrate, sovrastano il.complesso. Nel borgo murato si trova la Pieve medievale di S. Antonino, che conteneva le spoglie dell'omonimo martire romano, legionario cristiano decapitato a Travo sotto Diocleziano. L'interno è tutto alterato nello stile, che è del XVIII secolo, ma è decoroso. Un lato affaccia sul Parco Fluviale del Trebbia. The Castle and the village of Travo are gathered around Piazza Trento, which serves as an entrance through a medieval arch. The Castle houses the Archaeological Civic Museum (which is part of the Archaeological Park - Neolithic Village of Travo). The fort belonged to the Malaspina family and then passed, from the 13th century to the Anguissola family until 1978. After that it was sold to the Municipality of Travo. The structure includes the stately building that merges with the oldest medieval parts, such as the cylindrical tower, visible going around the square. Two other square towers overlook the complex. In the walled village is the medieval parish church of S. Antonino, which contained the remains of the homonymous Roman martyr, a Christian legionary beheaded in Travo under Diocletian. The interior is all altered in style, which is from the 18th century, but it is decent. One side overlooks the Trebbia River Park.
