Vi si accede da 2 o 3 sentieri, io sono salito da Telve sulla SP65, poi dalla SP31 seguendo la direzione Musiera, Calamento, Passo Manghen e ho lasciato subito la macchina nel primo piccolo parcheggio, a fianco della prima strada a destra che si incontra: lì si trova l'indicazione per CastelAlto (su questo sentiero si incontra il curioso "sass de la sécia"). I ruderi sono ben consolidati ed è in atto un progetto di restauro, ma è necessario tenere a mano i bambini e fare attenzione ai parapetti non sempre sicuri, specie se si vuole ispezionare per bene gli interni. Una bellissima esperienza da fare in tutti i periodi dell'anno. Very interesting site and placed on a suggestive position that dominates the whole valley. It is accessed by 2 or 3 paths, I went up from Telve on the SP65, then from the SP31 following the direction Musiera, Calamento, Passo Manghen and I immediately left the car in the first small parking lot, next to the first road on the right that you meet : there you will find the indication for CastelAlto (on this path you will find the curious "sass de la sécia"). The ruins are well established and a restoration project is underway, but it is necessary to hold the children by hand and pay attention to the railings that are not always safe, especially if you want to inspect the interiors well. A wonderful experience to do at all times of the year.

The castle is easily reachable with a short walk of less than one hour. Although several routes in the woods lead to the castle, some of these can be --from time to time-- temporarily inaccessible due to landslide.
