Per il resto non rimane molto. La passeggiata è piacevole e relativamente poco impegnativa. Servirebbe qualche indicazione in più e attrezzare meglio il sentiero perché in un paio di punti si deve attraversare il torrente Very few traces remain of the Castle. The cylindrical tower is however a fine example of medieval architecture of the late Middle Ages. For the rest there is not much left. The walk is pleasant and relatively undemanding. A few more indications would be needed and better equip the path because in a couple of points you have to cross the stream

La vista dalle rovine è molto bella su tutta la valle. The ruins of the castle are beautiful but the access is via an impervious climb of 400 m in altitude, so to be done calmly and with suitable shoes. The view from the ruins is very beautiful over the whole valley.
c	channel max on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si raggiunge in un'ora circa partendo dal campo di calcio del paese di Vigo di Thun. Si trova a monte del più conosciuto Castel Thun, a circa 850 metri di altezza. Costruito probabilmente sui resti di una fortificazione romana ( questo spiegherebbe la torre tonda, unica nel Trentino.. ), serviva a controllare la strada che attraversava le montagne verso la val di Non. Risale al XII secolo e fu coinvolto in molti atti bellici. Di proprietà della potente famiglia dei Thun, una volta messa in sicurezza la steada nel fondovalle nel XVII Secolo, venne abbandonato. Oggi ne è rimasto ben poco, solo la torre rotonda e alcuni muri sbrecciati, che fanno da cornice a diversi racconti di fantasmi e ad un bel panorama sul fondo valle. It can be reached in about an hour from the football field in the village of Vigo di Thun. It is located upstream of the better known Thun Castle, at about 850 meters high. Probably built on the remains of a Roman fortification (this would explain the round tower, the only one in Trentino ..), it served to control the road that crossed the mountains towards the Val di Non. It dates back to the 12th century and was involved in many acts of war. Owned by the powerful Thun family, once the steada in the valley floor had been secured in the 17th century, it was abandoned. Today there is very little left, only the round tower and some crumbling walls, which frame several ghost stories and a beautiful view over the valley.

La salita è rapida ma molto spettacolare, soprattutto il canyon iniziale. Dalla cima c'è una bella visuale. Un posto che lascia spazio più all'immaginazione che alla struttura in sé, che è al livello di rovina! Wild and inaccessible location, perfect for setting a medieval fantasy story! The climb is fast but very spectacular, especially the initial canyon. From the top there is a nice view. A place that leaves more room for the imagination than for the structure itself, which is on the level of ruin!
