Have been drinking this wine for 20 years. It's just great and also not expensive. We drink red wine, white wine and rose from this wine! In the meantime we don't try any other wine, otherwise we would miss the popular taste! In the beginning we bought it directly on Lake Garda. Now we always order it in Germany from a mail order company (Perbacco wine), which is also no more expensive than buying it directly.

The castle dates back to 1480, when the Firmian nobles, who had acquired the overhanging Castel San Gottardo by marriage, decided to build a castle in a more convenient position at the bottom of the valley. Originally a fortress with 2 towers, moats and crenellated walls, useful for controlling the passage towards the Val di Non, it was transformed in the 17th century into an elegant Baroque-Renaissance residence. It contains the historical relics of the family and an ancient and precious wooden statue depicting San Gottardo, coming from the castle of the same name above. It is private, cannot be visited and is still inhabited by the same ancient family. It is also the trademark of a company that produces excellent local wines.
