★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edificata in età medievale, fu ampliata e restaurata nel corso del Cinquecento. La facciata a capanna ospita un portale di gusto rinascimentale con piedritti e architrave lavorati a specchio e decorati da motivi a losanghe e a rosette. L’ingresso è affiancato da aperture rettangolari con inferriate e sormontato da una finestra a lunetta. L’interno è formato dall’aula con volta a botte e dal presbiterio a pianta rettangolare, voltato a crociera e illuminato da tre monofore romaniche e da due finestre gotiche con cornici lapidee. Al centro dell’abside è collocato l’altare in muratura con mensa in pietra rossa. Il campanile, affiancato alla zona absidale, è caratterizzato da aperture ogivali e cuspide a base esagonale in scandole. Sotto il pavimento a lastre furono sepolti gli ultimi discendenti Thun che abitarono l’omonimo castello.
Built in the Middle Ages, it was enlarged and restored during the sixteenth century. The gabled façade houses a Renaissance-style portal with mirrored piers and architraves decorated with diamond and rosette motifs. The entrance is flanked by rectangular openings with railings and surmounted by a lunette window. The interior is formed by the barrel-vaulted hall and the rectangular-shaped presbytery, with a cross-shaped vault and illuminated by three Romanesque mullioned windows and two Gothic windows with stone cornices. At the center of the apse is the masonry altar with a red stone table. The bell tower, flanked by the apse area, is characterized by ogival and cuspid openings with hexagonal shingle base. The last Thun descendants who lived in the castle of the same name were buried under the slab floor.
