Risalente probabilmente attorno al XII secolo, l'impianto attuale venne invece costruito nel XV secolo. Al suo interno notevole la pala d'altare di San Giorgio che combatte contro il drago opera dell'artista bolzanino Anton Kössler.
The church of San Giorgio martire is the parish church of Corona, part of the municipality of Cortaccia. Probably dating back to around the 12th century, the current plant was instead built in the 15th century. Inside, the altarpiece of St. George fighting the dragon by the Bolzano artist Anton Kössler is remarkable.
