★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Salvatore was our host for dinner while staying in Florence. The restaurant's history has a rustic charm. From the antipasto to the flavorful flaming dessert, each course was better than the previous one! The staff was attentive and friendly! Highly recommend! Grazie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omg ! That is soooo good ! We loved this restaurant. The food is simply delicious. And the atmosphere is at the same time simple and authentic. Rosso Toscana wine is great. You will definitely love it ! Just walk in and enjoy your meal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group of 24 called and were welcomed! Like most Italian places, we started with a first course pesto dish. I will admit, I am not a pesto fan, but this was delicious! With the basket of bread on the table this made for a great start. The house wines were above average too! It is true authentic Italian food and was warm and inviting. We had three people taking care of us. I look forward to returning and would recommend you visit. The main course was a pork dish with sauteed fresh vegetables. I cleaned my plate!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, wait time horrible. We watched 4 tables come in after us and finish before we got our entrees. Took 25 minutes to get our drinks. If you’re in a hurry don’t go there but if you have hours to waist than the food was 4.5/5. I have 2 days here and lots to see, I don’t want to wait for food for a hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here because of a sudden downpour and decided to stay for lunch. The cappuccino and appetizers were very good and I had high expectations for the rest of the meal, since it started off so well! The meal was exceptional, the parmigiana was great, ravioli good, and the lasagna was phenomenal! The tiramisu perfectly creamy... I really recommend this place! First time ever I'm happy for the downpour that caught us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a 2 Euro per person coperto here- which is basically a cover charge some places tack on for you to be there in their business. Wasn't a fan of that surprise fee but everything else was a pleasant experience. Bread for the table was absolutely delicious but could have been improved with butter or some olive oil. Dishes were phenomenal. Tried the wild boar pasta and lasagna. Wine was about twice the price of what it should be for the glass but decent. Restrooms were clean but did run out of toilet paper.
Overall, highly recommend. It's a somewhat touristy spot considering location and price, but for the ambiance and food it's very well worth the visit.
