★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most beautiful location on the island. Food is very good but the service lacks rythm. Take simple dishes and not complicated ones in order to help the kitchen better deliver. Fantastic romantic or family experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here because it was mentioned in Relais and Chateaux guide from Michelin. It exceeded our expectations.
The location is unbeatable because you have the sea in front and right behind one of the two old volcanoes of the island, which was called Didima because of the twin peaks, entirely covered by trees.
Hence you don't see houses or anything from a human other than the hotel.
The hotel is well laid out with just one story buildings spread out in such a way that the restaurant and pool are separate from the rooms, so quiet when you want it.
At the same time you can just walk and in under 10 minutes be everywhere, usually just 5 as that's where the main attractions are.
The suite we had was really nice with steps up to the second room with a bed.
The real star is, of course, the restaurant.
Always ask what is the fish of the day, you'll find local fresh fish that doesn't even have English names, like ricciolo.
Or specialties like vegan butter out of their olive oil. Really tasty.
For wine the one of the hotel owners, Tasca D'Almeria is very good, but also very diverse make sure you explain your tastes and they'll pair you up.
We staid here few days, we'll be back.

Excellent food and wine, amazing service and very joyful people all around.
The sea is beautiful in all the islands, suggested tours by boat.
It's a place you can't miss!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most amazing resorts i have ever been to. Stayed in a beautiful suites with a huge patio. Make sure you do the tasting and vineyard tour while you are there. We also enjoyed going out on their yacht MIKTY. Strongly recommend having their breakfasts and trying their dinner offerings. Service was top notch and they helped with every request: I’d stay here anytime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is beautiful and we had a wonderful evening sipping wine produced in the estate, some really good drinks and fresh seafood. The venue is carefully designed from an architectural viewpoint and the staff very courteous and well meaning. The three stars review comes from the lack of coordination and design in the way service is administered. When a client arrives or needs to pay the bill, they have to wonder around looking for someone able to help, and if a reception desk (or staff) exists, it is neither indicated at all nor found on the path in. On top of this, during our time there we had to get up and go search for attention twice, something not acceptable in a place of this level. The staff is plentiful and ready to help, what evidently lacks is some coordination that makes sure it is delivered in a timely and effortless way.
Last but not least, do not come here if anything other than a generous budget. This is not a place intended for casual travelers and the prices fully reflect it.
