Ci ha accolti Andrea, che ci ha subito messi a nostro agio e ci ha raccontato la storia dei suoi vini. Il sabato pomeriggio lui lo passa lì, in attesa che passi qualche amico per brindare insieme. Ci ha fatto provare i vini dell'annata, ma anche delle vere e proprie chicche di annate precedenti di cui sono rimaste solo poche bottiglie per le degustazioni. Abbiamo passato un pomeriggio di allegra condivisione di storie ed amicizie degustando Trebbiano, Chardonnay e Merlot. Se passate da quelle parti vale la pena fare un salto, per conoscere una bellissima piccola realtà vitivinicola del Lazio e portarsi a casa degli ottimi vini, non uniformati ai gusti internazionali, ma rispettosi delle identità delle cultivar, e continuare a brindare a casa al ricordo di un bellissimo pomeriggio. Visiting the beautiful gardens of Ninfa and the charming village of Sermoneta, we decided to stop at the Montecorvino winery before returning. Andrea welcomed us, who immediately put us at ease and told us the story of his wines. He spends it there on Saturday afternoon, waiting for some friends to come and toast together. He made us try vintage wines, but also some real goodies from previous years of which only a few bottles are left for tasting. We spent an afternoon of happy sharing of stories and friendships tasting Trebbiano, Chardonnay and Merlot. If you pass by those parts, it is worth taking a trip, to get to know a beautiful small wine-growing reality in Lazio and to take home excellent wines, not conformed to international tastes, but respectful of the identities of the cultivars, and to continue to toast at home to the memory of a beautiful afternoon.

Andrea ci ha accolti come se fossimo vecchi amici, abbiamo chiacchierato a lungo con lui ed alcuni suoi amici, seduti sotto l'ulivo in mezzo alle vigne e assaggiando i suoi ottimi bianchi. Sono quegli incontri che ti tirano su di morale - dovremmo tutti vivere così, rilassati ed amichevoli... Del vino naturalmente abbiamo acquistato una cassa, era troppo buono per non prenderlo! We stopped spontaneously when we read "Wine Tasting" along the way. Andrea welcomed us as if we were old friends, we chatted for a long time with him and some of his friends, sitting under the olive tree in the middle of the vineyards and tasting his excellent whites. Those are the meetings that cheer you up - we should all live like this, relaxed and friendly ... Of course we bought a box of wine, it was too good not to take it!
