The first half of the week the menu is primarily meat dishes and the second half of the week the menu is seafood dishes. During our stay in Rome we visited this restaurant twice and experienced both menus and both times were the best meals we had whilst in Rome. It's frequented mainly by locals and the food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I particularly recommended the spinach and ricotta ravioli with butter and sage during the first half of the week and the calamari and shrimp during the second half of the week. Though everything we had was fantastic and i'm sure everything else that we didn't try is also delicious.

It's not an elegant dine- in restaurant but I love myself a local, mom-pop shop. Portions were small but the prices are reasonable. Ordering family style to try a little of each was great to share. There is pasta if you'd like, but as it is more of a local spot, I'd highly suggest ordering the specials of the day and try things you've never had or heard of! Staff mostly speak Italian and the chef comes out often to serve or even pick up plates - just to give you an idea of how casual this place is. Gets very busy past 7 and full of locals

Visited on a Wednesday evening, and were shown straight to a table. Very friendly staff, owner made recommendations which we took. Food was delicious, home cooked no nonsense dishes. We had "angry" pasta and ravioli with ricotta and spinach for first course, and the lamb and veal specials of the day. Tiramisu to finish which again delicious. Would highly recommended.

Beckoned from across the street, the waitress and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Seated outside, the table and furnishings were clean, stylish and inviting. The menu was simple and relatively reasonably priced, offering good, homely food and atmosphere. My only negative was, that in my opinion the wine list was too expensive, 90% being "by the bottle" and the house red tasted dull and oddly earthy. However, my experience overall was positive

One of the best Roman places to eat if you are looking for good food, almost 100 % fish in unpretentious environment like typical roman family eating ! Most of the guests are long years local habitue which says it all. You can go for seating outside in the street or in door. You will feel both way like in a Rome movie ! Trust the long-year waiter for his suggestions ! You need to try and you will come back. They get fresh fish every Thursday. That is the best but not only day to come !

Worst meal we had in Rome, BY. FAR. I have no idea how anyone rates this highly. We went Saturday specifically for this acclaimed fish menu and we’re abruptly told β€œno” by what can only be described as the rudest waitress I’ve ever met. We thought β€œoh well, they ran out, we’ll get pasta!” Think again. The penne arrabbiata was completely flavorless and the noodles hard, the eggplant parm was a mushy glob of cheese, and we couldn’t even wash it down with decent house wine because that too tasted foul (sweet, syrupy, and warm - I think we’d be better off making our own). Don’t buy into these other reviews β€” skip it and go elsewhere.

Good cooking - can't handle peak times crowd/volume.
