★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Campingground in the middle of a pinewood. There are lodges and cottages to rent so no need to put up tents or travelling with a rv. Castiglio della pescaia is a nice little italian town with some shopping possibilities. Try the icecream at the parlor directly at the beginning of the pedestrian: you can select up to four traditionally tuscan flavours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The camping is inside a little forest with direct access to the beach, the atmosphere is great! The food-store, as well as the general store offer almost everything you need to fair prices.
Since the camping-spots are inside the forest, there is no room to park your car next to your tent as you would do normally. The weak spot of the camping are the sanitary facilitys: WC and shower are mixed in one cabin (therefore every toilet is constantly under water), and the facilities seem to be quite old/used.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall - Great location, helpful and friendly staff who spoke good English but poor facilities.
I had high hopes that I would love this campsite but it’s old facilities let it down. In particular no toilet seats, no toilet paper or any hand wash. In addition, the power supply was only 3 amp. This meant that the microwave repeatedly kept blowing the trip as well as our caravan’s hot water heating up!!! Despite its close proximity to the beach, cycle paths and lovely town I would not stay here again. In 2019 I expect better toilet and shower facilities!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crowded noisy place, sanitaries were awful. In times of covid there was no soap, paper, the stalls weren't cleaned. Unbearable. The staff wasn't really friendly or helpful, we didn't feel welcomed at all.

Nevertheless camping is old. Old infrastructure like electric breakers disconnect your power if you want to use you electric equipment like kettle. Hence you need lots of gas :((((.
Most of parcels are not leveled which makes your tent/camper assembly quite challenging. No access to water from your pitch!! This is extremely surprising. Or this is Italy standard? Pathways are not graveled and each time car pass by tones of dirt is in the air. Walking from shower to your parcel already makes you dirty.
Onsite store is very very expensive.
Toilets have water and that is it from good point of view. If you want to make a shower you should be patient. Typically there are people waiting in front of you. On average 15min waiting every day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach is really nice. The water is clean, even though it is really crowded. We didn't mind as we paid for umbrella & chairs.
Bar staff was really nice, they always surprised us with creative cappuccinos.
Not that much animation for the little ones.
The restaurant was really good and they own other restaurants outside of the camping that they recommend.
The problem about this camping are the crickets. They are so loud all day long that you end up having a headache. We couldn't wait for sunset to have a little peace.
