★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The camping site is beautiful, but has no relevant view nor a possibility to refresh. The pool is very, very small, and unfortunately we could not use it anyway, because it was forbidden to use it without swimming cap. Who on earth takes swimming caps on vacation? Besides., it is not recommended to swim in the Lago di Corbara.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camping Il Falcone is small and beautiful. We were here early in the season, and unfortunately the weather was not great, so we almost had the camping for ourselves. The camping is in a very quiet place, not near any big roads. It's on a hill with a beautiful view on the lake, especially if you are on one of the higher places. The owners are very friendly, and there's a small bar where you can eat some good ravioli or other pasta. We ordered bread every morning, which fortunately had salt in it (unsalted bread is very common in Umbria). The toilet building was well equipped and clean.
There's a small village nearby with a tiny, cute supermarket. The location was good to visit towns such as Orvieto and Todi. We had planned on doing some hiking, but the weather didn't allow it. However, I'm sure the surroundings for hiking and cycling are great. We also visited Rome; we parked our car at the train station in Orvieto from where you can take a direct train (takes ca. 1.5 hrs).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love Carlo's campsite! This was our second visit and this time we stayed in one of the safari tents. Brilliant. All we needed to live for a week. Carlo and his brother as helpful as ever, daily bread delivery, immaculate facilities and pool. It's a winner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A jewel if you are looking for a quiet camping place. Terraces create alot of places with impressive views on the valley. A very friendly owner who's correct, polite, helpful and welcoming. The pool is a pleasant cooling intermezzo during hot days. You can order bread every day and even diner is possible if reserved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Welcoming, accomodating and friendly owners/managers. They cook some simple but super tasty pasta and you can order some bread and croissants for the following day. Make sure you try the red wine (San Giovese) they have. Bathrooms are kept clean; there's hot water, soap, toilet paper and a hand dryer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice campsite in an olive-plantation. Lower pitches are for caravans/campers and have no wide view; higher pitches are only for tents, and have great views. Sanitary block is clean and there's a small pool as well.
Very friendly, enthusiastic and "visible" owner. Nice little village on walking-distance.
Only one small drawback for us: in mid-June 2017 there were almost only fellow Dutch guest who stayed for a longer period (weeks) on this site, therefore the site did not have the dynamics of a "trekking" camping, and did not have an "international" atmosphere. Perhaps in other weeks this is different.
Of course this is not to blame on the campsite itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful campsite. View is breathtaking and places for tent are spacious and have grass underground. Owner Carlo is a great host, who makes really good cappuccino to be enjoyed with the view ;). If you are in need of a totally relaxing, quiet place to enjoy your vacation: this is it. Surroundings have plenty nice towns to visit. We would definitely stay here again.
