★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camping pulito nel verde, piazzole ampie con erba.I bagni, le docce e i lavatoi pulitissimi e con acqua calda gratis.....carico e scarico, una specie di ciringuito con posto a sedere al chiuso e all'aperto tutto praticamente sul lungo lago. Proprietari gentili e disponibili molto alla mano e non si spende tanto...
 Clean campsite surrounded by greenery, large pitches with grass, bathrooms, showers and wash-houses very clean and with free hot water ... the needle. Friendly and helpful owners very easy going and you don't spend much ...

Great facilities but the problem we encountered were two Dutch girls who were really noisy coming back on the site with their new male friends the second night we were there. When I politely informed these females the next day of how unacceptable their loud, shouting 3am behaviour was, they said it was my fault for not telling them at the time! Really? I'm going to challenge 4 drunks and try to reason with them at 3am? The site personnel hid behind the "language" barrier when I complained about the awful yelling and shouting, although amazingly they could fully understand how long we intended to stay when we initially booked in! The opposite side of the lake offered much more neighbourly facilities - and far cheaper!

Only let down for me was the amount of dogs.....that barked constantly, all night.
If you want a decent nights sleep I would not recommend. If you need a dog friendly place, I would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here for 3 nights in May. It is a nice site which is just behind the lake. The facilities are clean, but you have to buy a token for a hot shower, and there is no hot water for pot washing. In its favour it has a bar/cafe at the entrance and they do excellent cappuccinos in a nice shaded area. There are beachfront bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk away and the beautiful town of Bolsena - definitely worth a visit - has many more, at about 15 minutes walk away. If you want a campsite this close to the lake and with easy access to the town for shopping, eating and drinking then this is the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple camping with not a lot of facilities. WiFi was available at the entrance, quality was however low. Small bar at the entrance with some drink options and a tv. Toilet facilities were outdated but functioned fine. Price for 5 adults 2 nights around 60 Euro's corresponded with the achieved quality of the camping.
