★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shocking deterioration. For long a welcoming place for all sorts of visits - business, social, solo people watching and relaxing. Now they throw you out after half an hour, make you feel unwelcome, are rude to you if you work - even while you keep ordering food and drink and the cafe isn't full. Totally profit driven and current manager doesn't seem to care at all about being hospitable and courteous. Terrible disappointment. Commercial atmosphere. Even the waitresses are now trained to drive people away: they used to be so friendly before!
Food and drink mediocre but it is in a great location, so used to be a nice place for a pause.

The salads were an opened bag of mixed salad with either mozzarella or from-frozen shrimp. €10. €5 for a glass of wine is too expensive also. Disappointed to have picked such a poor spot. You can do much better

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have used this cafe on several occasions during our stay in Lecce. Every time the staff are friendly and helpful. The place both inside and out is spotlessly clean. Recommend for drinks and snacks. We have had coffees there which are good. Tonight we had drinks and a plate of cheeses with salad. Good selection of cheese with tomatoes, aubergine, rocket and cucumber served with bread. The place is in a great location where you can sit and people watch.
