La ragazza ci ha accolti gentilmente facendoci sedere ad un tavolo abbastanza distante dagli altri commensali. Per spizzicare qualcosa nell'attesa ci hanno portato pane e grissini (che ho gradito moltissimo). Abbiamo scelto un antipasto con vari salumi locali, ravioli al ragù di cinghiale e girasoli con speck, zucchina e un formaggio che, purtroppo, non ricordo. Inoltre abbiamo preso un bicchiere di Barbera d'Asti che si sposava perfettamente con il nostro menù, strudel di mele, fiocca (tipico dolce della val Formazza a base di panna e cioccolato)e due caffè. Prezzo per due persone compreso di coperto 50€, onestissimo considerando le porzioni abbondanti, la qualità e la tranquillità con la quale mi sono goduta la cena! Consigliatissimo! After a nice walk in the mountains, dinner at the Ca 'del vino is a must. The girl kindly welcomed us making us sit at a table quite distant from the other diners. To nibble something while we were waiting they brought us bread and breadsticks (which I really enjoyed). We chose an appetizer with various local cold cuts, ravioli with wild boar sauce and sunflowers with speck, courgette and a cheese that, unfortunately, I don't remember. We also had a glass of Barbera d'Asti that went perfectly with our menu, apple strudel, fiocca (a typical dessert of Val Formazza made with cream and chocolate) and two coffees. Price for two people including cover charge of € 50, very honest considering the large portions, the quality and the tranquility with which I enjoyed dinner! Highly recommended!

Devo dire che tutto quello che ho mangiato è stato molto buono e saporito, il clima era quello tipico di montagna, abbastanza riservato, ma accogliente. Ho provato i girasoli con Speck e Castelmagno (Devastanti) e le costolette di agnello annegate nello Zola, con pistacchio (Da perdere il fiato). Cotture perfette e sapori decisi. Giusto un appunto sui tovaglioli utilizzati, veramente brutti e logori (meglio usa e getta a questo punto) e il pane non freschissimi. Assolutamente da tornare appena possibile! Le foto parlano da sé... Very nice place in Varzo. I must say that everything I ate was very good and tasty, the climate was typical of the mountains, quite reserved, but welcoming. I tried the sunflowers with Speck and Castelmagno (Devastanti) and the lamb chops drowned in Zola, with pistachio (To lose your breath). Perfect cooking and strong flavors. Just a note on the napkins used, really ugly and worn (better disposable at this point) and the bread not very fresh. Absolutely to return as soon as possible! The photos speak for themselves ...

Mangiato una tartare di tonno buonissima seguita da ravioli al ragù di cinghiale altrettanto buoni. Tornerò all'occasione. Simple but cozy restaurant, good service and fair prices. Ate a very good tuna tartare followed by equally good ravioli with wild boar ragu. I will return to the occasion.

Il prezzo è alto, ma perfettamente in linea a ciò che si mangia, onesto. Una nota positiva va assolutamente alle cameriere, simpatiche e soprattutto ben preparate. Servizio da 10. Consigliatissimo. Appetizer and first course to leave you speechless, delicious. I tasted a dessert, but I was not very satisfied with it instead. The price is high, but perfectly in line with what you eat, honest. A positive note goes absolutely to the waitresses, nice and above all well prepared. Service from 10. Highly recommended.
V	Valter Comaschi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sembra strano trovare un ristorante in montagna, specializzato nella cucina a base di pesce, ma è sicuramente una passione e preparazione del gestore, dove ricordo molti anni or sono gestiva un ristorante, presso la stazione ferroviaria di Iselle, nelle immediate vicinanze del famoso traforo del Sempione. I piatti proposti sono raffinati e proposti con notevole maestria, insalata di mare con frutti di bosco e arancia, trancio di tonno sublime servito con patate viola e mela verde, ottimo secondo denominato la “barca nel bosco” composto da, gamberoni, dentice, orata e calamaro al forno con pangrattato erbe aromatiche e verdurine, ottimi anche i dolci tiramisù e bunet anche questi serviti con raffinatezza. Personale molto cordiale e gentile. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità e freschezza dei prodotti proposti, (ho letto nelle recensioni, dove alcuni si lamentano, probabilmente non conoscono il valore di mercato dei prodotti) merita assolutamente di ritornare per apprezzare le altre prelibatezze proposte! It seems strange to find a restaurant in the mountains, specialized in fish-based cuisine, but it is certainly a passion and preparation of the manager, where I remember many years ago he ran a restaurant, at the Iselle railway station, in the immediate vicinity of the famous tunnel Simplon. The dishes offered are refined and proposed with remarkable skill, seafood salad with berries and orange, sublime tuna steak served with purple potatoes and green apple, excellent second course called the "boat in the woods" consisting of, prawns, red snapper, sea bream and baked squid with breadcrumbs, herbs and vegetables, the sweet tiramisu and bunet are also excellent, also served with refinement. Very friendly and polite staff. Price appropriate to the quality and freshness of the products offered, (I read in the reviews, where some complain, they probably do not know the market value of the products) absolutely deserves to come back to appreciate the other delicacies proposed!

I	Ioannis Geo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are here on our way back to Switzerland. Amazing food - free fish salad was stunning. Lamb chops were some of the best I had ; I would just make sure to put the sauce on the side, since the lamb itself tested even better without it. It was amazing.
