★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was prompt, we were seated quickly and given menus straight away. Even though the waiter did not speak english, she made an effort to explain the dishes as well as she could. The food was very reasonably priced and of a good standard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was exceptional, with the typical dishes of this region (deer meat, lake fish, honey, local vegetables). The staff was well trained and very kind, and the service was very quick and punctual. What we ate was above average, and even if the place is a bit out-of-hand the road is well kept also in winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did not stay at the hotel ourselves, but we attended a wedding here (where all other guests stayed) and ate here on a separate occasion. The food is lovely. Perfect Italian - simple and delicious. It is a beautiful setting with lots of great hikes around. it is on the edge of a quiet, beautiful old town. The owners are second to none, they went out of their way to accommodate adults and children, both at the wedding and at meal times. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tiny room and bathroom. Breakfast bar extremely limited and low quality. Ironically the pool opens at checkout time, so couldn't even check it out. Totally overpriced!
