M	Mei Scott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not rent a car from Budget Palermo (or their associated company Avis). We had a confirmed reservation for an "Automatic" car, booked a few weeks before directly using their own website. We arrived on time, but they had no automatic cars available in any category. This company needs to learn the meaning of the word "RESERVATION". Although the lady was apologetic and helpful and tried to ring other companies to find us a car, THIS COMPANY SYSTEMATICALLY OVERBOOKS AND DOES NOT CARE HOW MUCH INCONVENIENCE THEY CAUSE. Several other groups arrived and had the same issue as us, so the problem is not a one time event. They had our email address and local Italian mobile number but made no attemps to contact and advise us of the issue before we arrived. We will never use Budget or Avis again as long as we live. Absolutely disgraceful.

J	Jason Novotny on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic Sicilian scam, beware! They will find some additional scratch on rental car and charge you for it. I don't recommend renting here unless you go ahead and purchase complete comprehensive insurance coverage.
R	Raphael Meindl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't book there your car! The guy only want to sell you some insurances and try to convince you of them although you already have them from your voucher. In addition he wanted to add another driver only after saying this the 3rd time he stopped doing this. Furthermore we've paid the fuel before and had a bill in addition to the voucher of 152 euros for two days! On the bill he didn't use the right amount of the voucher, of course less than the normal one. Because of this we have to go the bureau again. I recommend everybody not to book your car there!
D	Danny T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived to pick up a pre booked car via AutoEurope to find a long queue of customers, all leaving unhappy they were all told the same story no cars available for Avis or Budget. I saw 4 bookings with the same result . Upon entering the office they said I could have a van (12 seater mini bus) I accepted as I had no accomodation and needed to get to my next destination. The van was a damaged Polish plated van with a low spec, the office said I could swap at CTA airport 3 hours later arriving their I got the same story no cars available or anywhere else? AVIS / BUDGET car rental seems not .... wish I looked at reviews before and don't believe the shabby service or stories from these guys . 1 star is too high but allows me to post .

No alternatives were offered, because they don’t have any available ones even for the next days. And we were not the first ones today. Very unresponsible! Budget destroyed all our plans!!! .... I sent the requested details via PM on FB We were not the first ones with the same story there... We let know via LinkedIn the regional director and the GM for Italy about this situation, but they might be already so used to it, that they don’t feel the importance to react. A shame...
E	E. R. P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible experience with this branch. I would not recommend renting with them or any of their sister associates. The pick-up/check-out process was completely disorganized and slow as they try to up-sell every customer renting from them, even when they have a budget account and preferences. Then when we returned the car, they lied about additional damages that were already documented. Damages that are to begin with surfaces scratches that all branches in the US don’t even consider because that’s just wear and tear. Due to our early flight, I was unable to dispute in person and they charged my card without authorization. I emailed the dispute address on the email sent, but nothing as of yet. I went through my card company to dispute the charges. I can’t believe how dirty and horrible they are to lie about and then charge without authorization. I wouldn’t use this company/branch ever again.
