Nice store, occupies the entire building on several levels, I find the need to have a modern office and works inside a historic building .... and obviously the collections on sale are also beautiful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wer ein hochwertiges Hemd (von der Stange) sucht und eine gute Beratung schätzt, der sollte dieses Geschäft bei einem Rombesuch "mit auf der Liste" haben.
Brooks Brothers haben sie ggf. noch nie als Marke gehört? Nun, es handelt sich hierbei um den ältesten Herrenausstatter Amerikas, Ralph Lauren lernte bei BB den Verkauf (und übernahm die Markenrechte am Polohemd) und fast alle Präsidenten der USA trugen Anzüge von Brooks Brothers. Wer also einen Teil dieser Geschichte besitzten möchte, der sollte hier vorbeischauen.
Aber Achtung: Die Ladenfläche im Erdgeschoss ist nur ein kleiner Teil. Der weit größere Teil erstreckt sich über die anderen Stockwerke. Hier werden auch die Damen glücklich, welche ebenfalls seit Jahren Blusen & Co. der Mode im Preppy- bzw. Ivy League-Stil erwerben können.
Übrigens: Das einzige BB-Geschäft in Deutschland ist in Frankfurt am Main. Also nutzen sie die Gelegenheit (wenn sie schon hier sind) und decken sie sich hier mit schön Erinnerungen an Rom ein.
If you are looking for a high-quality shirt and a good advice, then you should have this business "on the list" when you visit Rome.
Brooks Brothers may never have heard of them as a brand? Well, this is the oldest men's outfitters in America, Ralph Lauren learned to sell (and took ownership of the polo shirt) at BB, and almost all US presidents wore Brooks Brothers suits. So if you want to own a part of this story, you should stop by here.
But beware: the shop floor on the ground floor is only a small part. The much larger part extends over the other floors. Here are the ladies happy, which also for years blouses & Co. can buy the fashion in preppy or Ivy League style.
By the way: The only BB business in Germany is in Frankfurt am Main. So take the opportunity (if you're already here) and cover yourself with beautiful memories of Rome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La mia esperienza è stata quanto meno deludente: mi hanno regalato una camicia, acquistata negli USA, dando ampia assicurazione all'acquirente che la camicia poteva essere "cambiata" in qualsiasi negozio Brooks Brothers, anche a Roma.
Sono andato al negozio di via del Leoncino, ieri mattina, e non me l'hanno voluta cambiare, dicendo che si tratta di un modello che non è in vendita in Italia.
Adesso mi tocca tenermi una camicia, nuova, che mi sta stretta.
Non andrò mai più a comprare camicie in quel negozio.
My experience was at least disappointing: they gave me a shirt, purchased in the USA, giving the buyer ample assurance that the shirt could be "changed" in any Brooks Brothers store, even in Rome.
I went to the shop in via del Leoncino, yesterday morning, and they didn't want to change it, saying that it is a model that is not for sale in Italy.
Now I have to keep a shirt, new, that is close to me.
I will never go to buy shirts in that shop again.
