Già presente in epoca etrusca, la sua struttura attuale risale alla Roma imperiale. Sulla sponda sinistra è stato eretto Castello della Badia che completa uno scenario unico, da non perdere. Purtroppo però al momento (4.3.21), non si può percorre perché temporaneamente chiuso per restauro.
