Il paesaggio è bello, ma è proprio la gestione che non va. È possibile fare il bagno, necessario dopo l'escursione dell'area archeologica. I expected it to be more accurate, since you pay 10 euros per person to enter; also the lady at the entrance is quite rude. The landscape is beautiful, but management is wrong. Per molti la “vera” attrazione del sito, in quanto i resti degli edifici storici hanno grande rilevanza culturale, ma poco appeal dal punto di vista puramente estetico. Dopo una breve camminata lungo il sentiero, si incontrano vacche maremmane che pascolano pacifiche e infine il laghetto. In realtà, uno slargo del fiume Fiora, che è stata usata come location per alcuni film, come "Tre uomini e una gamba" e "Non ci resta che piangere". Il posto è attrezzato di aree per fare picnic e gustarsi la vista scenografica e suoni della natura tra l'acqua ed il canto degli uccelli. In questo periodo non c'è la spiaggetta ma con la bella stagione riaffiora e si può approfittare per fare un bagno e prendere il sole. Da visitare assolutamente.
