So äußert sich Matthieu Taunay, seit 2009 verantwortlich für Rebflächen und Weinkeller von Monteverro. „Als ich zum ersten Mal den Monteverro 2012 verkostet habe, hatte ich die Gewissheit, dass der Betrieb in nur fünf Jahren Riesenschritte gemacht hat. Dieser Wein ist ein wunderbares Geschenk für uns alle. Weinkenner werden seine Opulenz, Präzision und das reichhaltige Bouquet zu schätzen wissen, das die Sonne, die Schönheit, die Reflektionen des Meeres im Süden der Toskana widerzuspiegeln scheint“.
It has only been five years since the fruit of these vineyards became a fixture internationally. "The commitment of the owners was certainly of fundamental importance for this, but a vintage like 2012 also made a decisive contribution to this." ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely stunning views from the deck overlooking the winery. Tastings are by reservations only. Gate might be closed when you arrive and they may not be able to accommodate you for the store should you want to buy wine on site. Excellent staff and experience.
