Borgo Condé - Wine Resort

Beautiful place to relax. Nice dining on top of the hill in the middle of the vineyard. This is vacation. Excellent breakfast, very nice rooms. Here you feel as a king. Friendly people. Swimming pool, wellness, fitness.... Wifi is not always the best, but I don't need this during holiday. A place to come back and not so far away from important cities and beaches.

This place is so beautiful! This was the first stop on our honeymoon road trip in October 2020 and it didn't disappoint. Thank you for a lovely stay. We really hope to come back.

The resort was good but the staff was excellent! Eliza, Jürgen, Donatella & Fernando made sure us Dutch guests had everything we needed, even during COVID-times (May 2021). True Italian passion and hospitality! Would recommend greatly! Kind regards Kristan & Jennifer

Exceptional location and breathtaking view from the resort. Only 1 of the restaurants was open (probably due to COVID) but food was good and all staff were kind and competent. A few hiccups due to COVID and short staffing but manager Emanuele took matters into his own hands and helped resolve. Overall great experience.

TLDR: if you are planning a destination wedding, in my opinion you should dismiss Borgo Conde. ... My Italian fiancé and I visited Borgo Condé as we were considering it as a possible wedding venue. After multiple initial emails (with no/slow responses) we finally got an appointment with someone to show us around. We travelled from Scotland, as we were planning a destination wedding. We showed up on the day at the appointed time, and we were told the person we made the appointment with does not work there and that the reception staff had never heard the name. Okay... After some time waiting, the helpful reception staff found someone to show us around (Emanuele). Emanuele was friendly and helpful. After an initial discussion, which he graciously spoke English during, we had a tour of the venue, discussed options and plans for different aspects of the wedding, and viewed some of the bedrooms. We were advised that we would receive a quote by email based on the information from our visit. We stayed for lunch after meeting Emanuele, and purchased several bottles of wine to sample in anticipation of using Borgo Conde for our wedding. The food was nice. We spent quite a bit of money. Nevermind the travel expenses from Scotland we had already incurred. It is now several weeks later and the resort have still not emailed a quote to us. It feels like the whole trip was a complete was of time and money. If you are planning your wedding, in my opinion you should dismiss Borgo Conde. Especially if you are not based in Italy, given our experience of poor communication. It's a nice place to visit to eat and have a drink, but poor on the communication side. ***EDIT 03/10/21*** Since writing this review, we were contacted by the resort manager with wedding prices and some other information. We replied saying we had dismissed the resort as a possible venue. We then received a response accusing us of defaming/slandering the resort with this review and threatening legal action unless I delete it. I believe this review to be a fair, balanced, and accurate description of our experiences with Borgo Conde, and as such I will not delete it.

Beautiful location and very spacious rooms. Ate both dinner and breakfast. They were decent but could be improved. 10am check-out is definitely too early, industry standard in Italy is 11am

Beautiful winery, great landscape and spacious. Rooms are sweet and large but very noisy from neighbors. Wine and food were great, but service could speed up and be more organized. Besides that we had a fantastic stay.

Our stay was perfect. The staff is classy, very kind and professional and always there for guests. The room was spotless, cleaned every single day. Residence is situated perfectly, overlooking other hills and wrapped in vineyards. Every morning the most wonderfull smell wakes you up and you get to taste lovely and rich breakfast. We were lucky and got to enjoy sunshine for the main part of our stay, with their delicious wines (we got to take home a good part of the collection). Dinner in their restaurant was fantastic, really top drawer. It was without a doubt one of the best vacations we had up to this point. We will be back soon and I hope on several more occacions.
