★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday we went with friends for dinner to Locanda Appennino. The place is just refurbished and tastefully modern.
It was fantastic. Italian food at it's best and a tremendous selection of wines for reasonable prices. We had asked me starter crostinis with different mushrooms/truffles and as main a Bistecca Fiorentina with roast potatoes, salad, fried porchini mushrooms and green asparagus with parmesan cheese. Divine.
As wine we had local white and red, not expensive, but very tasty.
This place is an absolut recommendation.
