★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had multiple deck-level leaks on a Lagoon 450 catamaran. Elia worked-out the new front windows sealing in a more convincing way, than a Lagoon-recommenced company based in Ostia did 4 years ago. He then changed a deck window and worked out hull-deck sealing issues with attention to details and positive result.
But his range of expertise of any boat issue, goes way further, working as a team on electric or electronic issues (Raymarine, B&G, etc) as well as engine (mine is Yanmar) and rigging.
Elia and his gang make Licata Marina a convincing place to organize boat repairs and refitting, especially with the large crane the yard has there.
Licata is a nice little town, 2h off Catania airport, with short sailing opportunities to the Egadis, Malta or Siracusa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eli is a very sympathetic person. Has a lot of patience. Wil do what he can (is a lot) to bring the work to a good end. I should go there again when I have boat problems. What he can not do himself, he always know somebody who can do the job. So he is a good organizer too. In november there was a very strong storm a lot of boats had problems with there mooringlines and broken cleats, Eli was running around all night (together with others) to help with keeping the boats hitting eachother.
Next day he made pictures of the boats and sent them to us, we were at home at that time, so we could see ourselfes that there was no damage at our boat. We did not ask for that service but it was very much appreciated.
I reccomend him strongly for ALL kind of problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consultant doesn't tell it all : Elia di Prima (manager of Boat svce) knows what best resource to use for any kind of boat issue, based on his own and thorough experience, and selection of specialized partners.
Had the opportunity to work with him on many different types of issues (engines, sails, rigging, tender, etc.), with high standard of delivery and strong commitment on client satisfaction. In some instance, distant engine trouble support could be provided by Elia over the phone.
Highly recommended for trouble-shooting as well as regular maintenance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elia recently installed a new electric winch on our boat, while we were in Australia for 2 months. He did a very thorough job of coring the deck and manufacturing a stainless steel backing plate. He also smoothed the textured anti-skid where the winch was installed to ensure a strong, water-tight installation. Best of all, he was kind enough to take and send photos to me in Australia during the work so I could see that he completed each step of the process correctly. Not only is Elia a professional craftsman, he is an extremely nice person too- Always willing to help everyone! Highly recommended!
