Ottimo il tagliere di salumi e formaggi. Small, but nice bar / restaurant located in the historic center of Ostuni. The menu offers typical foods of Puglia, from pucce, to cutting boards to first courses .. The platter of cold cuts and cheeses is excellent.

Ci sono stato per pranzo e nonostante avessi ordinato una puccia (non un piatto particolarmente elaborato) sono stato servito dopo poco meno di un'ora attesa (per essere maggiormente sicuro del tempo di attesa ho controllato l'ora di una foto fatta mentre assaggio il panino e quella di una foto fatta poco prima di sederci al locale). Oltre alla lentezza del servizio, hanno sbagliato nella lista degli ingredienti della puccia (nda: in totale erano 4). Come se non bastasse quando ho fatto notare la cosa e chiesto che correggessero la preparazione, i camerieri hanno riportato il piatto in cucina da cui alcuni compagni del mio stesso tavolo hanno sentito (nda: fatto negato dal proprietario) le invettive della cuoca, dal momento che "[la puccia] era buona ugualmente". La puccia (fatta due volte) era nella media, tiepida, nulla di particolare. Il servizio ha lasciato a desiderare. Quanto sentito porterebbe a dubitare anche del rispetto per il cliente da parte di almeno una persona dello staff (nda: fatto che ribadisco è stato negato dal titolare). Il cameriere che ha servito al tavolo si è dimostrato professionale. A prescindere dai fatti contestati, ho provato un servizio eccessivamente lento e un cibo mediocre. Non posso consigliare questo bar. If you really can't do without it, but I would highly recommend you move on. I was there for lunch and despite having ordered a puccia (not a particularly elaborate dish) I was served after a little less than an hour waiting (to be more sure of the waiting time I checked the time for a photo taken while tasting the sandwich and that of a photo taken just before sitting down at the club). In addition to the slowness of the service, they made a mistake in the list of ingredients of the puccia (note: in total there were 4). As if that were not enough when I pointed this out and asked them to correct the preparation, the waiters brought the dish back to the kitchen from which some companions of my same table heard (note: fact denied by the owner) the invectives of the cook, from the moment that "[la puccia] was good all the same". The puccia (made twice) was average, lukewarm, nothing special. The service left something to be desired. What we heard would also lead to doubt the respect for the customer on the part of at least one person of the staff (editor's note: a fact that I repeat was denied by the owner). The waiter who served the table proved to be professional. Regardless of the disputed facts, I have experienced overly slow service and mediocre food. Cannot recommend this bar.

The staff was unprofessional and rude. The manager should spend more time making sandwiches instead of replying to negative reviews.

We immediately asked for the bill when the drinks came... The bill came another 30 minutes later. Other than that, the food looked nice but we didn't try it.

The waiter, a young man with long hair, served me with everything I needed and had an appropriate use of English. I ordered 2 really delicious 'pucce' and 1 'cutting board'. I recommend people to have an aperitif or to eat because everything is delicious and the prices are right.
