★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay away!!! I asked the fee, he said it depends on the amount. I told him $95. He took my $95, I assumed the computer was calculating the fee, all the sudden he hands me the receipt and 56 euro. He charged me the minimum 9.9 euro without telling me the fee. After a heated argument demanding my money back, he then points to a paper out of my view and says the fee is posted and that I should call the police if I have a problem. There is nothing he could do he says. This company are cheats and swindlers, stay away!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did the mistake to exchange money there during my vacation 2 years ago and I can still remember my bad experience. Can't believe they are allowed to trick people with 20% commission for so many years. Other European cities/countries have laws that allow you to reverse the transaction within 1~24 hours or forbid commissions. City of Florence should do something if they don't want people to remember that beautiful place with bitter memories of being tricked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TOTAL SCAM. STAY AWAY! Not only do they hide and not disclose the 20% Fee + 10 Euro charge, the teller actually tried to get me to exchange more money when I approached, telling me "you'll get a better deal if you exchange more money". I'm really glad I didn't have more money with me, because later I realized that I had gotten totally scammed. Once you exchange, they will not reverse it. This place is the absolute worst, making money off taking advantage of tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dont change your money here !! We got short changed! 1 AUS dollar to 1 Euro was .62 cents at this time. We changed 200 AUS dollars to Euro and only received 80.95 Euros back ! With the 19 percent commission they charge we should have recieved around 100 Euro back! When my friend went back and asked about changing the exact same amount she quoted 90 euro back. So within 5 minutes the rate changed dramatically.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They do not disclose what they are going to give you back for your money, although they advertise a “rate” of transaction. Once my currency was on their side of the window they refused to give it back. Pure third world tactics used and their place should be closed by the local authorities!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As noted by several folks they are basically thieves. Once your money hits the tray say good by to it. I'm really surprised the Italian authorities don't shut these facilities down. They do not disclose additional fees to you until you count your transaction and say hey you shorted me. As I said there is no going back if your not satisfied. I consider this a huge eyesore for tourism in Florence. Just stay away from them if they are CHANGE locations and make a report to police if robbed by these thieves.
