★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Red is an exceptional friendly host. We had dinner here 3 times during our stay in Tuscany. We tasted almost all the dishes from the menu and they were really good. Great wine list, and the terrace next to the trees is very cosy on the romantic piazza. Make sure to ware long trousers because of the mosquitos (this last tip goes for the whole of tuscany).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enoteca Bengodi was our favorite dinner in Tuscany! We shared the tagolini pasta with a creamy butter truffle sauce to start. Then for dinner we split veal Verde pepe and the pork dish. Both entrees had amazing flavor!! It was hard to share! We did not want the meal to end! Truffle was on our bucket list so we had to order it. Otherwise we would have ordered the risotto as well! But we were so full! Amazing food. Amazing owner with incredible hospitality! A definite visit in Tuscany ❤️??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. Lunch here was by far the best meal of our week in Italy. The entire experience was top notch, and truly at a Michelin level. The food was to die for, and the service was superb. The risotto served from a Parmigiano Reggiano wheel was unbelievable and a very pleasant surprise. The waiter had so much passion when explaining the dish, so I just had to order it. My wife is a truffle fan and thoroughly enjoyed the amount of fresh truffle shaved on to her pasta. All this excellent food and wine for a very reasonable price. So happy we were recommended this restaurant. Would love to return some day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top notch experience at Bengodi! I was overwhelmed with the Risotto alla Bengodi served inside a pecorino cheese wheel, where the chef did his final prep at the table! Real amazing experience and an explosion of combination of flavors, it's superb! I also ordered the Dolci del giorno fatti in casa (Tiramisu), and it was outstanding, best one I ever had, creamy, tasteful and beautifully decorated. The wine served was "Terzo Movimento Chianti Classico Riserva" which I also recommend. Overall, the whole dining experience was amazing. You got to visit this Ristorante in Castelnuovo Berardegna, no regrets!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been dining here over the years. What a pleasure to be back after 2020 and enjoy a meal. I brought my family this time. The Risotto in the Pecorino cheese wheel is a crowd pleaser for sure and wonderfully delicious. Tonight we also tried the Charcoal Ravioli. Complimenti Sara e Red.
