Villa Curina Resort

Amazing view, staff is very kind and helpful. The room is charming. Great breakfast. The dinner at the local restaurant was delicious. Don't miss the sunset as u can see in the pics. Overall experience: a magical place to escape to and enjoy the wonders of villa curing resort.

Great place! Super nice rooms, GREAT restaurant, attentive staff and easy to find. The pool area is very nice, sunbeds for all guests and really soft and big towels. The breakfast is as expected in a place like this, enough selection and with great quality. There is a pool bar with light lunches and excellent drinks and service. The restaurant is fab, really good food with high end presentations and at fair price. We would go here again for sure. Only down side at a worthy place like this if you drive an electric car (like we do) is that there is no charging possibilities at all. Sad in 2019. Several residences in the area offers this on site.

Perfect. Gorgeous location. Stunning views. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, traditional with fantastic Tuscan views. The pool far exceeded expectations - plenty of privacy with terraced areas, bar facilities available, comfortable lounges. Staff were all pleasant, helpful, courteous and ready with a smile! Highly recommend. Just adorable and so relaxing.

Nice resort. Spacious rooms. Friendly service. Breakfast is moderate. You need to pay extra 5 € for fried eggs instead of scrambeled eggs. The location has so much potential but lacks some bit of love and maitenance. When we arrived there was no table at the restaurant, so we had to drive to Castelnuovo Berardegna where we had a bad dining experience. If you go there we recommend a restaurant near by “Le Pietre Vive” we unfortunately only discovered on the second day of our stay. Fabulous food.

People make the place! Evelyn looked after us during our light lunch. She smiled, laughed and was even a little upset that I poured our own wine! Roberta showed us around Villa Curina. The pool area is outstanding and the poolside bar just wonderful. We are adding Villa Curina to our Tuscany cycling experiences. We look forward to spending many a happy evening here.

It was a very nice stay altogether and normally I would very much recommend this charming place in Toscany. There were some highlights and few challenges. Highlights include cleanness of the place, quiet and rather private environment of very old structure, perfect service by the pool and breakfast, great breakfast, warm and helpful staff at front desk. On our last day, we have encountered a storm during one evening and it was rather surprising how many leaks of water we have seen from the roof and walls in multiple places but those were rather funny surprise than a real problem. Biggest problem was the restaurant for dinner (not same where breakfast is served or prepared). There we have encountered salty and dull food (not only our table) with really very poor inexperienced, chaotic and young service (waiters). This experience was NOT matching the rest. It was a huge drawback to the overall experience, especially as there is nothing else in walkable distance, topped up by very poor and almost not professional response from management (management of the dinner place is different as it is run by the son of the owner of the resort). Feedback was given at the front desk and response received at the checkout just claiming that we had the misfortune of having reservation at busy time (time which they gave us by the way) - no compensation whatsoever so we did not leave TIP for the dinner (least we could do). Also, please be aware that if you are higher than say 185cm, you may encounter troubles sleeping on beds (mattresses) which are for some reason only 190cm of length compared to normal sice of 200cm (probably Italian standard of some sort). Those mattresses were also too soft at least for my taste.

Amazing experience in the tuscan countryside. Simply one of the best in the area both in terms of the experience on their website and in their resort and restaurant!

We stayed at the Villa for 4 days. The view is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly. Each morning we eat a wonderful breakfast in an outdoor dining area. This made us feel very safe. They have an outstanding restaurant with amazing wines. I would recommend this Villa for your stay in Italy.
