R	Rolf Frehner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Anonimax to Antonimax! What a journey with only one letter. The restaurant is now subtitled with Chianti Soul Kitchen, which inspires the gourmet to try the soul and kitchen. Since the change the restaurant is more stylish, the guitar from Max is not anymore in the corner near the bar, everything is on its place, proper and cool. We started with tagliolini con porcini which was wonderful prepared, al dente like it must be and the porcini sliced and seasoned exactly perfect. That a bit more parsley could have been added doesn’t change the experience. After that a baccala candito with a colorful garniture of cipolle rosa and different pomodori (cherry tomatoes). Extremely tasty and a feast for the eyes. The Rollé di faraona (guinea fowl), filled with porcini and salsiccia is a poem and fits into the autumn season. But where is the soul, where the rocky music from the „Boss“? With a little sadness we miss these old times, when not all chairs were the same and Max sometimes took the instrument for fun...... Antonimax is worth to visit, definitely and to enjoy a high standing kitchen, the soul has yet to come.... again!

AnToniMa X is such a gem and announced as Chanti Soul kitchen, it surely delivers on its promise. Most italian and Tuscan restaurant serve excellent local food, that is a plain fact. So it was delightful to experience the fresh and contemporary twist of the chef to the classical menu we got to know so well. Truly exquisite food with an excellent presentation and an impeccable service. On itself already a remarkable accomplishment, especially at these democratic prices. That makes AnToniMa surely a precious gem, but not yet unique. It is the passion and personal touch that Max and his team radiates to all of the guests, what makes AnToniMa X a truly unique experience and in my view a rarety in today's restaurant scene. Very well done!

Once more hats down to the talented chef! If you want to have a dinner you will not forget because it was so delicious AntoniMax is the place to go. We will definitely come next time we visit Tuscany.

Cracking flavours, meats cooked to perfection (we're quite hard to please)...the host knew his wines and the waitress was very friendly. The place was full on a Saturday in March, packed with locals...always a very good sign!! We'll be back :)
