Bed & Breakfast Villa Sensi

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare per una settimana presso questo B&B e l esperienza che ho avuto con mia moglie è stata FANTASTICA Paolo il titolare, vale da solo il viaggio, perché e una persona veramente speciale ! Sana, solare,simpatica ti coccola e ti sa dare ottimi consigli sia su cosa visitare ma anche su dove andare a mangiare conoscendo benissimo la zona La struttura e molto ben tenuta e pulita ed anche la nostra camera era veramente bella, spaziosa e dotata di tutti i confort (grande TV, clima,frigo, cassaforte e un bagno con doccia completo di tutto) Piscina SUPER e una zona solarium attorno molto spaziosa con vista sul lago Trasimeno bellissima Colazione ottima e super completa La posizione è il top perché permette di stare in tutta tranquillità, fuori da traffico e confusione, all interno di un parco naturale immersi nel verde ed allo stesso tempo vicino al paese di Tuoro al Trasimeno vera chicca e ad altri punti di interesse (Perugia, Assisi,Cortona, val d Orcia ecc ecc) CONSIGLIATISSIMO !

Piękne, urokliwe miejsce na wzgórzu z widokiem na jezioro Trasimeno. Bardzo miły właściciel, który lubi rozmawiać ze swoimi gośćmi. Dzięki informacjom od właściciela można się dowiedzieć gdzie warto pójść zjeść w okolicznych miejscowościach. Miejsce zdecydowanie warte polecenia.

A recommendation and a good rating on Trip Advisor made us dreaming about another perfect Italian vacation. In fact, we were disappointed and sorry to have spent time and money in this hotel. The "Villa" is not villa at all but a country house of two small buildings which both are not any beautiful and were not restored well. No elevator in the main building (and no rooms at the ground floor!), the narrow upstairs and corridors, no any balconies or terrace/veranda or anything else like that what we await thinking about beautiful Italy. The guests are corked in the building as a box without a breath of fresh air! The room decor is eclectic and tasteless and has nothing to do with Italy. Such rooms could be in any country! The furniture is uncomfortable and has neither Italian style nor historical touch. The designer's work is outstandingly poor and tasteless. There are also no garden, plans or olive trees..nothing! but portable flower pots with scanty flowers (and this in spring in Italy!) No Italian atmosphere or aroma of Tuscany! nothing of what we expected and that we are accustomed to seeing elsewhere in Tuscany and Umbria. The owner could not recommend us any authentic restaurant with traditional cuisine, and did not even know the names of classical (and all known) Italian dishes and wines. We did not like the restaurant of his friend he recommended, the way we could not eat there! besides it was far to go, outside the Tuoro place. There are a number of a very good restaurants in Trasimeno, which we all found it on the Internet, to the shame of the owner of the hotel. His taste has a lot to be desired. Staying in the region every year, we can compare the hotel with many others. We must admit that this is the worst hotel of all that we have seen and the most overrated. We would recommend people to read negative reviews too before to make a choice on the hotel. Sometimes it's the only correct advice from people of taste similar to you. That would save you from the wrong choice. Good luck!

Views are outstanding, location good for visiting surrounding Tuscany and Umbria region...only drawback is that while the pool was beautiful for a refreshing swim, it needed to be maintained daily, bird droppings all over! A solar water heater might be a good idea since the water was very cold, even for us Canadians! The breakfast was very good and the hosts were warm and friendly, albeit, the host should be aware of when to keep the guests entertained in conversation and when to let them go about their way. I believe we were probably in one of the worst rooms, and while the sheets were clean, and the room was cleaned daily, the shower would leak water all over, and the fixtures need to be updated... The room we received was right near the main staircase and the sounds carried loudly. The other recommendation would be to please fix the giant potholes on the road coming up to the property, it would not be as intimidating for guests since the road is very narrow and steep. My husband and I would recommend it for a beautiful location ?

Excellent. Location is perfect for exploring the lake and surrounding towns as long as you have a car. Views from the room we had were beautiful and the people working in the B&B were so friendly. Breakfast is served at a good time (around 8.45). Rooms are clean and spacious, would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit the lake Trasimeno area.
