Great place catering mainly for wedding parties so its a place to be with family and friends beforee, during and after a wedding. Facilities are fine for a week. Fairly remote and a 30 min walk or taxi ride to the nearest village. Owner also owns a nearby restaurant and can deliver orders. Tips. Bring tea towel, only one provided between all villas. Bring a corkscrew. Additional charges are levied for electricity used, not just air con as stated. Brilliant place. We had a great time.

,I have travelled a lot ,to many far flung places when I was invited to a wedding in Italy I was apprehensive my family was spanish/Italian Europe would not be my choice for a holiday.when we arrived I was more than pleasantly surprised . The reception we received was more than welcoming the owners were courteous welcoming and our room was clean sumptuous and more than well equipped wedding was wonderful food was FAB and I would highly recommend any one that wants the wedding that will exceed their expectations to use the villa BARANCINO. my husband and I experienced a second honeymoon th e venue was absolutely spectacular pristine well organised and as we say in cardiff the dogs ***** !!!!!!!!!

Heaven under the Tuscan Sun : Villa Baroncino is outstandingly beautiful. The views, the pools, the apartments, the verandas, the marquee…. Everything is divine. I honestly felt like I was living someone else’s lavish lifestyle for the week at a fraction of the cost and stress. We were helped with planning and budgeting each step of the way with a personal planner, regular email reminders and the 8 steps tool. I could go into the details of describing the villa, apartments, the florist, caterer, hairdresser, DJ, transport but there’s really no point. Marco provides you with a high quality service, and ensures that those he works with work to a high standard also. You will not be disappointed. You will not need to worry. You will have discussed and practised everything in such fine detail with Marco that you will be able to completely relax on the day of your wedding. You won’t have to think of a thing. Sit back, relax and enjoy. However, for us, this wasn’t just about the wedding day. This was about the entire holiday. This was about being with friends and family for a week of fun under the Tuscan sun. But what we received was a lifetime of unforgettable memories with our friends and family. Our wedding in Villa Baroncino was six weeks ago and I miss it every day. As my family live in all corners of the world, it had been ten years since our last reunion. Villa Baroncino gave us all the chance to be together for a week of total relaxation, drinks by the pool, dodgy dancing, Ciao Ciao pizzas, howling karaoke, morning bakery deliveries, smoky BBQs, 3am swims, road trips, birthday cakes, lunches on the veranda, sunset walks and hilarious cannonballs. This was the last wedding in our family so leaving our lovely home away from home where we were married was one of the saddest days we’ve experienced. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. This Villa truly felt like our home, but a stunningly beautiful home we could never have had in Ireland. To quote one of our guests the day after we left - “I can’t believe another couple is getting married in OUR villa”. This is just how at home we all felt there thanks to Marco, Ina and Cristina. They were always just a quick text or phone call away if you needed them. Deciding to have our wedding in Villa Baroncino was the best decision we’ve ever made. Every day in this villa will provide you with beautiful, unforgettable memories. A wedding at Villa Baroncino is like no other. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. Marco and his team at Romantic Italian Weddings are complete professionals. And although you may not understand this now… they want your dream wedding to be as perfect as you do. Villa Baroncino is nothing but ideal if you are looking for the perfect Italian wedding! I have been a guest at two weddings at Villa Baroncino; and it was purely due to my being a guest at the first wedding that my friend decided it was THE place for him and his partner to tie the knot. Villa Baroncino has much to boast about - it is set in a beautiful surrounding, overlooking the rolling Tuscan hills. An idillic setting for friends, fun and Prosecco while watching the sun set over the stunning Lake Trasimeno. Marco has always been incredibly supportive of the couple’s requirements and has provided an excellent service to ensure the wedding guests have the best possible experience. He provides free taxi service to Ciao Ciao’s, a local restaurant and disco which is situated on the picturesque lake. While it may seem some way from the nearest super market, Marco is able to provide car rental at a nominal fee to ensure that guests are able to access all they should need to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Marco and Cristina showed an impressive amount of consideration throughout the week to ensure that the wedding ran as smoothly as possible; accommodating every request the couple put forward - ensuring their day was simply perfect. Every need was met with an impeccable level of attention to detail; regardless of how minor the request. Marco and Cristina were always able to respond to requests throughout the week and were at hand throughout the special day. Villa Baroncino is a fantastic venue for anyone considering marriage abroad. The apartments are clean, aesthetically pleasing and well equipped for guests to enjoy. Two communal pools ensure guests are able to soak up the sun while getting to know one another at the same time as keeping themselves cool in the warm Tuscan sun! It is well know, the world over, that Tuscany is perhaps, the most beautiful province of Italy. With rolling hills, lakes and cultural centres such as Florence, tourists flock in great numbers to this most beautiful of areas. However, what they don’t know, is about 30 minutes drive from Perugia airport, and a stones throw away from Lake Trasimeno, hidden amongst the rolling Tuscan hills is a hidden gem, and that gem is called Villa Baroncino. With rooms and communal areas decorated in the Baroque Italian style, with modern amenities such as fully integrated kitchens, modern shower rooms, air-conditioning, TV’s, safes, and a fully functioning laundry room, the wedding couple and their guests are treated not only to a comfortable, but truly romantic Italian wedding experience like no other. Set in lush green gardens, which are tended by a very talented and hardworking gardener, with two pools, to keep cool from the hot Tuscan sun, and a traditional Italian formal garden, Villa Baroncino is the wedding destination of a lifetime. It is also a location steeped in history, which overlooks the site of the 217 BC Battle of Lake Trasimene, along with a section of the villa being commissioned by Napoleon himself, during the French occupation of Italy. With so many wedding venues and companies to choose from in Italy, it is perhaps easy to overlook this villa and Romantic Italian Weddings, but to do so would be the mistake of a lifetime. We were introduced to Marco and Romantic Italian Weddings after a friend attended a wedding at Villa Baroncino in 2016. We flew out to meet Marco and his team in February 2017, and after seeing the villa and meeting Marco, we immediately booked our wedding for August 2019. Initially, I was worried about the daunting task of planning a wedding abroad, however, upon seeing that Romantic Italian Weddings has a comprehensive planning portal to help the wedding couple plan their special day, this daunting task was a slice of cake! What made the planning process even easier was the fact that Marco and his friendly and professional team were constantly on hand to answer all manner of questions and queries. Literally nothing was too trivial for Marco and his team to deal with. This personal touch was invaluable when planning a wedding abroad, and it was clear that Marco and his team takes great delight and pride, in helping couples turn their dreams into reality. When we visited the villa again in February 2018 to select our florist and caterer, we were blown away by the skills of these two experts. In fact, deciding what flower arrangements to have and what food to select was perhaps the most difficult aspect of our wedding planning, as there was so much to choose from, which shows that Romantic Italian Weddings uses only the finest local craftspeople to provide a service. In addition, Romantic Italian Weddings provides a comprehensive wine and beer package for couples. This saw us have 300 bottles of wine, (which was made up of red, white and prosecco) as well as 200 bottles of beer! This amazing package not only provided us with alcohol for the wedding week, but also for the wedding day itself. We didn’t manage to get through all of it, so have arranged for the rest to be shipped back to the UK. Needless to say, our wedding week and day were magical from start to finish, and the rapport that my husband and I built with Marco and his partner, Cristina, has led to us planning on going out next year to visit them both. That I believe shows how much of an impression both Marco and Cristina left upon us both, and all because we chose to get married with Romantic Italian Weddings. I worked in this beautiful structure overlooking Lake Trasimeno some weeks ago for a stunning destination wedding, perfectly coordinated by Marco and his staff. The venue has a lot of great spots where take wonderful wedding photos. A really welcoming structure that I highly recommend.

Villa Baroncino is, in short, perfection. We had our wedding reception at Villa Baroncino after a ceremony in Cortona, and were fortunate enough to stay for a week with 40 members of our family and friends and cannot recommend the entire experience enough. The property itself is stunning and so beautifully presented (with a wonderful gardener keeping things in tip-top shape!) - from antique furnishings to everything you could need in the kitchens, etc. Walking the olive groves and looking out over the hills of Umbria and Tuscany is something truly special. There is an excellent and very helpful venue manager on sight, as well as Marco overseeing the wedding aspect, which was run like clock-work. For guests, it's an easy drive into local towns and there are also great running and hiking trails straight from the property, which our guests loved. There are lovely common spaces (indoor and out) which are perfect for hosting pizza nights, bbqs and big family meals. Definitely a 5 star property.
