★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima Chiesa ricca di decorazioni pittoriche e storie sacre tratte dalla Bibbia, pregevole il campanile con un particolare rivestimento del tetto a cono stile mosaico. Pregevoli anche gli altari laterali e le numerose statue collocate all'interno delle navate.
 Beautiful Church rich in pictorial decorations and sacred stories taken from the Bible, the bell tower is valuable with a particular covering of the mosaic-style cone roof. The side altars and the numerous statues placed inside the aisles are also valuable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eretta nel 1547 ed ampliata nel 1691,rimase distrutta dal terremoto del 1693. L'opera di ricostruzione fu completata nel 1705 dal mecenate Don Diego Pappalardo. L'edificio ha una pianta a tre navate e presenta gli estesi affreschi di Giovanni Lo Coco, il quadro di Mattia Preti raffigurante Il martirio di Santa Caterina, le tarsìe policrome dell'altare maggiore, numerose tele, arredi e sculture. Il campanile alto 50 mt, è a cuspide policroma.
Erected in 1547 and enlarged in 1691, it was destroyed by the earthquake of 1693. The reconstruction work was completed in 1705 by the patron Don Diego Pappalardo. The building has a plan with three naves and presents the extensive frescoes by Giovanni Lo Coco, the painting by Mattia Preti depicting the martyrdom of Saint Catherine, the polychrome tarsias of the high altar, numerous paintings, furnishings and sculptures. The bell tower 50 meters high, has a polychrome spire.
