Beautiful basilica, do not hesitate to visit the Badia Di Sant Agatha Chiesa, especially the dome that is right next to it. The view from the top of the Dome is beautiful, well worth the 4 €

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa, da poco restaurata, venne realizzata nel 1655 e nel tempo subì vari rimaneggiamenti che gli conferirono l'aspetto attuale.
L'edificio ha una pianta a croce greca e sull'altare maggiore è possibile ammirare la statua marmorea della Madonna della Catena, opera cinquecentesca.
Nel 1985 papa Giovanni Paolo II la elevò a Basilica Minore.
The church, recently restored, was built in 1655 and over time underwent various alterations that gave it its current appearance.
The building has a Greek cross plan and on the high altar it is possible to admire the marble statue of the Madonna della Catena, a sixteenth-century work.
In 1985 Pope John Paul II elevated it to the status of a Minor Basilica.
