Conserva numerose opere che risalgono al Cinquecento e al Seicento, come il ciclo di affreschi che rappresenta la storia dei santi Pietro e Paolo dello Zoppo di Gangi (1624). Ha un impianto basilicale a tre navate ed una scenografica scalinata d’accesso realizzata nel Seicento. Inoltre, custodisce numerosi dipinti. Nella cappella terminale della navata sinistra c’è una bellissima tela che raffigura l’Annunciata, la “Madonna dei miracoli” patrona del comune di Collesano. C’è un’altra cosa di notevole rilievo: l’organo del Cinquecento che è stato rifatto nel Seicento. Sono custodite anche numerose statue lignee che provengono dalle altre chiese di Collesano. Diciamo che questa spettacolare basilica siciliana è un’opera d’arte a dir poco unica nel suo genere e attrae tutte le persone per il suo splendore. This beautiful work was built in the second half of the fifteenth century and was consecrated in 1548. It preserves numerous works dating back to the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, such as the cycle of frescoes representing the history of Saints Peter and Paul of the Zoppo di Gangi (1624) . It has a basilica structure with three naves and a scenic access staircase built in the seventeenth century. In addition, it houses numerous paintings. In the terminal chapel of the left nave there is a beautiful canvas depicting the Annunciation, the "Madonna of Miracles" patron saint of the municipality of Collesano. There is another thing of considerable importance: the sixteenth century organ that was redone in the seventeenth century. There are also numerous wooden statues that come from the other churches of Collesano. Let's say that this spectacular Sicilian basilica is a work of art, to say the least, unique in its kind and attracts all people for its splendor.

Soffitto ligneo; organo a canne del cinquecento; cantoria lignea restaurata da poco con ottime immagini, affreschi nel presbiterio del 1624 con episodi della vita di Pietro e Paolo. Molto belle le cappelle laterali. Assolutamente vale la pena una sosta. L’entrata è sul lato sinistro della chiesa. An unexpected surprise.
